@peterh I believe the name for this “phenomenon” is a functional Debian system since all systems (including fresh-installs) will have that mount abundance.

@peterh Maybe if you run sudo systemctl --all and check for the services ending in .mount, you could systemctl mask them, but I am not sure of the implications.

What Debian release is your system on? Also, I have read that /tmp can be part of the normal filesystem: debian.org/releases/trixie/release-notes/… using systemctl mask tmp.mount although this is not applicable in your case.
