Last time (14.04)... the bookmark for U1 was still there although the application was removed :)
Oct 25, 2014 17:53
@Rinzwind If it's a fresh install with default Firefox profile, the bookmarks should be the same for everyone.
Oct 25, 2014 17:39
Don't want to download the whole 1GB ISO to know this simple fact.. :)
Oct 25, 2014 17:38

@chaskes No problem... :)
Jun 29, 2014 08:48
the other bug as you say..
Jun 29, 2014 08:47
@chaskes ^^ Are you talking about this
Jun 29, 2014 08:47
This was the actual bug which couldn't be reproduced.
Jun 29, 2014 08:47
@hbdgaf No... The bug was actually that the configs got set that way automatically.. I am a regular Ubuntu user who doesn't know too much about the internals of Ubuntu and I had opened /etc/gdm/custom.conf for the first time in my life that day after reporting the bug. So, I hadn't set those configs myself. As I said there, I had couple of times changed the option to login automatically from the System Settings and that's it.. The option for TimedLogin got set by itself.

@chaskes ^^
Jun 28, 2014 16:17
You had mentioned that you have reported a bug which is something related to it for Gnome Control Centre..

Jun 27, 2014 19:08
Oh..
Jun 27, 2014 19:08
terdon would find all these familiar.. He has an extremely good command over English and he belongs from France..
Jun 27, 2014 19:06
Ugh.. I again put the question mark at the end..
Jun 27, 2014 19:05
Ca va?
Jun 27, 2014 19:02
I made a mistake by putting the question mark at the end.
Jun 27, 2014 19:02
@jokerdino Ah.. thanks for that.. I was just being lazy..
Jun 27, 2014 18:47
English is funny... I never seem to understand how "How do you do?" is an answer to "How do you do?"
Jun 27, 2014 18:47
I am fine as well
Jun 27, 2014 18:47
How do you do?
Jun 27, 2014 18:43
BTW, how's life..
Jun 27, 2014 18:40
@jokerdino @terdon My condolences are with both of you...
Jun 27, 2014 12:32

May 13, 2014 23:36
@Braiam Heh.. you even edited that question :)
May 13, 2014 23:35
But, that question is really unclear... What does he want to do? Recover those files, help with distro-hopping, installation, dual-boot, networking (as given in the body of the question)...
May 13, 2014 23:34
@Braiam There is at the end.. 2nd last para : linex
