First of all, onomatopoeia may sound differently in every language, therefore it gets changed accordingly to a language. Why is it Clo-clo in Spanish, whereas in English it's Cluck? Why is it Cua-cua-cua in Spanish, whereas in English it's Quack? Your rule it's exactly as it sounds doesn't work here.

Why is it plasticO instead of plastic? Again - if you claim that because of onomatopoeia the words have to match each other in terms of sound

why do you assume that onomatopoeia has to match the original language precisely? If it was so, Spanish would become English

@Schilive in that case why don't you keep creating tons of content in your spare AND working time, for free, all the time? You should do it 3 times per day, every single day. Articles and videos.
