Well, let's see if anybody turns up to start using it first.
Sep 3, 2014 23:00
Fairy snuff, thanks for that.
Sep 3, 2014 22:58
That's alright, I know you're trying to figure out what to do with the tag.

There's a high likelihood of that happening, yes.
Sep 3, 2014 22:57
I'm going off my experience over on the RPG stack exchange where, say, D&D has a 3.5, a 4th edition and fifth edition subtag.
Sep 3, 2014 22:56
Well, you could, but that would lose historical context in 2 years when the next edition comes out.
Sep 3, 2014 22:55
Some rules don't apply.
Sep 3, 2014 22:53
Lots of things change from edition to edition, but rarely from expansion to expansion the way magic does it.
Sep 3, 2014 22:52
The expendable keyword is defined in that editions rulebook.
Sep 3, 2014 22:49
I tried untagged and the site moaned at me :P
Sep 3, 2014 22:47
Fair enough, which tag should I use for that? I did have a dig for something appropraitely generic, but only untagged looked halfway appropriate.
Sep 3, 2014 22:22
I've noticed that there's no tag for Legend of the Five Rings? Is there any chance someone with the rep could add legend-of-the-five-rings (synonym l5r) and ivory-edition?

@BESW And now your scale is calibrated better :)
Mar 11, 2013 00:15
@BESW SOmetimes, you just have to learn that lesson for yourself :P
Mar 10, 2013 11:48
yeah. I'd be tempted to look at depictions of the Aes Sedai from the Wheel of Time for the "know you must tell the truth" side of things.
Mar 10, 2013 11:38
I think there's an answer to the question. But it's just not relevant to more than Zach's table. If it was about guidance of how the raw spell worked in play instead, that would be more useful.
Mar 10, 2013 11:33
It's probably too localised with the extra house rule, really.
Mar 10, 2013 11:32
I didn't like it - it seems like it would be better asked in chat.
Mar 10, 2013 09:02
@BESW heya - I've been away from the PC most of the weekend. Trying to fight through the WoT Slump.
Mar 9, 2013 05:55
No worries, catch you in a bit :)
Mar 9, 2013 05:49
Yeah, enough shifts to exceed the barrier on the zone should be enough. Any leftover shifts can then go into doing stress.
Mar 9, 2013 05:46
Looks good :)
Mar 9, 2013 05:37
I'd suggest Toby is more Pain than Rage. He's lashing out because he hurts, like any wounded creature would.
Mar 9, 2013 05:25
Covered in the blood of of the love of his life.
Mar 9, 2013 05:23
Rasser frassing computer buggers.
Mar 9, 2013 05:23
Baaaaah. It worked for me because I viewed the original in Google Images first.
Mar 9, 2013 05:21
BUt then, I don't have any real experience of American construction in the Victorian era.
Mar 9, 2013 05:20
@BESW Heh, to me that looks like a faux-recreation of something somewhat appropriate.
Mar 9, 2013 05:17
@BESW 1930s work clothes. I presume he was a blue collar worker?
Mar 9, 2013 05:16
Nasty.
Mar 9, 2013 05:13
So, blood spatter up his shirt front and dripping blood from his wrists.
Mar 9, 2013 05:13
The same knife he used to kill her, obviously.
Mar 9, 2013 05:11
Covered in his wife's blood, probably with visible wounds of his death.
Mar 9, 2013 05:10
Until they pass through something that is. Then you get weird clipping issues.
Mar 9, 2013 05:09
Yeah, they can change that look based on how they perceive themselves, but they appear to be real.
Mar 9, 2013 05:08
Again, lots of Ghost Whisperer in my recent viewing history - but ghosts who look normal but do seemingly crazy are quite effective on the emotional level.
Mar 9, 2013 05:06
Little over the top for my taste.
Mar 9, 2013 05:05
In wedding dress or birthing gown, depending on who else is around, maybe?
Mar 9, 2013 05:00
@BESW I thought mother didn't appear?
Mar 9, 2013 04:58
@BESW Sounds about right.
Mar 9, 2013 04:56
Gives you an excuse for ending conflicts then - the ghost runs away because the Tiny Foghorn is about to start shouting again :P
Mar 9, 2013 04:54
@BESW Unless she does end up in the cellar. Possibly crushed by the weight of her own grief.
Mar 9, 2013 04:52
@BESW Self-preservation mechanisms - not always rational, but almost always helpful!
Mar 9, 2013 04:49
@BESW Wow... she be toast if she actually takes herself entirely down to the cellar.
Mar 9, 2013 04:48
Discipline usually.
Mar 9, 2013 04:47
Depends on what you're doing.
Mar 9, 2013 04:45
Despite him thinking that he is protecting the kid from her.
Mar 9, 2013 04:45
@BESW WHich explains why mommy is fine until daddy can't keep her out of the cellar.
Mar 9, 2013 04:43
@BESW Ow, my third and fourth ears just blew out at the thought of that.
