And it all started falling apart from there
Sep 19, 2023 12:59
I remember rejoicing in my heart when people actually wanted to talk to me on this site. It gave me a feeling that I never felt before, and I guess I just kept going because I wanted to feel it again
Sep 19, 2023 12:56
Also to give context on some of my annoying actions back then:
- Everytime I would pop into a conversation between you and Sciborg, that was because I wanted to talk to someone online since I don't really have many friends irl.
- Past me also didn't really understand the problems that an lgbtq+ person was facing, so that also explains my insulting behaviour.
- And last, I just wanted to be in a community. That's all, really. If you can't feel accepted by anyone else irl, why not feel accepted online?
Sep 19, 2023 12:52
Once again, I'm sorry
Sep 19, 2023 12:50
I've grown up now (while admittedly still not understanding Cryptic Clues as much :( ), so can we keep the past in the past? It also kinda makes me uncomfortable now knowing what I did wrong back then, so it's better to just move on from that
Sep 19, 2023 12:47
@bobble I'm sorry too, back then I didn't understand what you meant by insensitive since I was still quite young
Sep 19, 2023 00:44
"He's played in" https://www.yourdictionary.com/play-in
"Ball game on a computer"
Yeah... The first one seems off the more I think about it
Sep 19, 2023 00:35
Or I might be mistaken???
Sep 19, 2023 00:34
@juicifer PONG ddef?
Aug 10, 2023 06:31
MYSTERIOUS is exactly 10 letters, but I can't find any wordplay, so it's probably not that
Aug 4, 2023 08:06
Yeah, it is W and V, actually very funny when I realized that the clue (which originally was only for W) could also clue V 😅
Aug 4, 2023 07:48
As in, 2 solutions, both of them are only 1 letter
Aug 4, 2023 07:47
Victory letter (1/1)
Aug 4, 2023 07:47
Something fun I made from the Puzzlers Club Discord server:
Aug 1, 2023 03:01
:D
Aug 1, 2023 02:34
Oooh that's clever
Aug 1, 2023 02:31
@Jafe Now that I'm back for now (but probably not for long), I want to say the answer is DOCTOR WHO but I can't find the exact wordplay, the definition is definitely "Long-running show", and probably an anagram of HOW
Jan 5, 2023 12:03
Just putting it out there, just a thought
Jan 5, 2023 12:02
Notice, the hint said the "controversy" is a recent one, not "element of controversy". Element seems to suggest something from the periodic table. Now just a matter of figuring out which one...
Jan 4, 2023 10:11
Secret hat, dunno how I got it

Aug 14, 2023 05:08
Also, just out of curiosity, what is the most russian last name you can think of for a man named Albert?
Aug 14, 2023 05:06
I'm not going with any Shadow related titles, since The Shadow is an actual character within this universe and it's influence is mostly dominant for the first 3 episodes only, and just a bit of influence in the 4th
Aug 10, 2023 23:41
Hm
Aug 10, 2023 06:23
Also I call him the main villain because of his influence to the plot of the story, but he's dead for 90% of the story
Aug 10, 2023 06:23
He died many, many years ago
Aug 10, 2023 06:19
I mean, the 6th episode IS directly connected to the events of the 5th, but that connection isn't related to the main villain directly
Aug 10, 2023 06:16
Basically the 8th episode is to introduce the idea that there are other villains, other bad guys that aren't all on the side of main villain of the series
Aug 10, 2023 06:15
@VLAZ Hard to tell, I mean there are characters that stay alive for the whole series, but they feel too much on the side to be considered main ones for the title
Aug 10, 2023 06:15
@AndyD273 I feel like I made a mistake with the story after you said this, because yes there's a main villain that rules over it all from episode 1-5, but then some things happen in the 6th and 7th that eventually lead up to the reveal of a brand new villain in the 8th that's dissconnected from the main villain at all
Aug 10, 2023 06:13
@VLAZ Hard to tell, I mean there are characters that stay alive for the whole series, but they feel too much on the side to be considered main ones for the title
Aug 10, 2023 06:12
@AndyD273 The virus isn't the main plot point of the story, it's just required to help a backstory for a certain character
Aug 8, 2023 05:34
Sorry if it feels like spam
Aug 8, 2023 05:34
Why am I using this as my venting place lol
Aug 8, 2023 05:34
(There's a lot of death)
Aug 8, 2023 05:33
And naming it based on a trio of side villains feels weird too, especially after 2 of them die in the 5th
Aug 8, 2023 05:32
Or a character that first appears in the fourth? She's still alive, but technically because she becomes a side character starting from the 7th, that won't do
Aug 8, 2023 05:31
I could name it after another character, but he died in the sixth one
Aug 8, 2023 05:15
I can't find a better title though since the story is, well, about a lot of stuff, as written above
Aug 8, 2023 05:14
Just gonna drop this here, but I also have this recurring problem of naming the series after a certain character, but that character died during the third episode, and I'm currently working on number 10
Aug 8, 2023 05:06
You know, no biggie
Aug 8, 2023 05:06
Technically, the space pod thing is just a small fraction of the entire lore of the story, considering it's about illuminati level conspiracies, elemental powers, a giant battle millions of years ago, interstellar travels, ancient legends, cthulhu level threats, possesion, mischief, pollitical corruption, and a villain fueled with jealousy and a need for revenge strong enough to push him to want universal destruction
Aug 8, 2023 04:26
@AndyD273 No, I don't think those people have stuff related to turning energy into force fields, it's not supposed to be THAT sci-fi just yet
Aug 8, 2023 04:24
But that didn't end well for the destination planet
Aug 8, 2023 04:24
@AndyD273 Technically the whole point of sending it to space is to GET RID of the virus
Aug 8, 2023 04:23
I mean, it had to survive in order to progress the story forward
Aug 8, 2023 04:23
@AndyD273 Yes, when I remembered the wormhole part, I instantly knew that it could make the trip quickly, but I was still unsure if the pod would survive
Aug 5, 2023 08:13
Hm
Aug 5, 2023 08:10
Oh, I forgot to mention, it went through a wormhole and back in time, can it theoretically survive going through a wormhole?
Aug 5, 2023 07:55
Is it possible for a computer (the CPU, that is) to survive space? As in, if you were to place a CPU inside a little rocket pod and blast it off to space, can the programming inside (like say, a super intelligent super-virus) survive until it lands on another planet in about more than 10.000 light years?
Aug 5, 2023 07:55
Hello, I'm a user from Puzzling SE, but I'm here because I just so happen to have an entire universe planned out for a 10 episode story and I need a little help with something.
