@Servaes So the idea that Israel is the "real" victim here is just so laughable! You may call Hamas "terrorists". But remember the old adage that "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter". That is ,why apart from a few western countries and its allies, Hamas is not considered a terrorist organisation - for the rest of the world, they are simply another Palestinian resistant militia fighting for the rights of Palestinian (who also tap into the extreme right political ideology). All Israel needs to do to live in peace with Palestinians is to to accept the "one state" solution.
13:11
@Servaes All agency and responsibility for 'good' actions is with Palestinians, for 'bad' actions is with Israel. - Yes. In this modern era, I find the idea of religious zealots clamouring for a "Hindu nation" or a "Jewish nation" to be an extremely dangerous (and intellectually bereft and stupid) idea of the extreme right fanatics who are only mixing religion and politics and violence to capture and stay in power. Israel occupies Palestinian land only because of western hegemony and force. So ofcourse the Palestinians will, and do resist when the Israelis oppress them.
13:11
@Servaes in order for these armed Palestinian extremists to steal aid from Hamas, first Hamas must somehow come into possession of this aid - According to the international observers, it is not Hamas that is doing the stealing but these Israeli backed jihadist groups - this aids Israeli propaganda that "Hamas is stealing the aid", which is the excuse both the US and Israel use to prevent a co-ordinated international effort to help the Gazans. After all, a true international relief effort would reveal the real truth of the ongoing genocide and brutality of the IDF.
13:11
Please do point out that fallacy and ridicule me publicly all you want - I don't mind it at all.
13:11
Finally, that Israel arms Gaza clans is not exactly a secret - Netanyahu stated so openly. - And so he knows that it is these Palestinians extremists that have been attacking the aids convoy and Hamas, to steal aids, on the orders of his Government. So he has been lying that it was Hamas who has been doing so, which most international organisations have already been saying so.
13:11
Israel’s new right-wing government is even more extreme than protests would have you think -The left- in Israel has been quite rudderless and dying. Worst is that many of these extremist rights- (from the settler colony) have managed to increasingly gain influence in the army. It is this combination of Israeli-right extremists - in the government + the army, and the current ongoing genocide of Gaza - that have today tarnished Israelis as right-wing bigots, fanatics, etc.
13:11
whereas sinister Jews control everything that takes place in the world - That's the antisemistism that you associated with the neo-colonialism + The Guardian. You are right that the political spectrum of Israel is not much different from other democracies. It is however also a fact that the extreme Israeli-right, that use Jewish religious fundamentalism and political violence to advance their political cause, are in power now. Israel’s new government is the most right-wing ever
13:11
Calling The Guardian as an antisemite organisation is real stretch. I wonder how you feel about Haaretz that reported on this first - Armed Gaza Militia Rivaling Hamas Hands Out Aid in Israeli-controlled Zone? Is the Haaretz organisation composed of neo-leftist self-loathing Jews who care more about Palestinians than Israel?
13:11
Here's the evidence that Netanyahu's government (and even their allies) have been lying - Israel accused of arming Palestinian gang who allegedly looted aid in Gaza. Note that this is consistent with their policy of financing jihadi groups, like Hamas, to cause ruptures in the Palestinian movement and polity.

 Ukrainian Conflict 2022

Room for discussing the conflict in Ukraine.
Fri 15:36
Non-cooperation is to fight an occupation army. But, if Ukraine is defeated, Russia will not occupy Ukraine. I believe they will only occupy the Eastern part, and the complete coastal area including Odessa, stretching upto Moldova (i think?). Western Ukraine will then shrink and become a completely land-locked country totally dependent on its neighbours. That is the worst-case scenario awaiting Ukraine when (not if) it loses the war.

@User1865345 No. Gandhi was speaking from his philosophy of non-violence. But even Sun Tzu, the military strategist says the same from his philosophy of warfare in politics:

Ukraine ‘trying to put cart before the horse’ – Kremlin Kiev wants to rush high-level talks while failing to engage seriously on core demands, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.
Fri 12:55
> Two of these are Shahed drones and Iskander missiles in which, he said, Russia has invested heavily in trying to deliver a long-term military-industrial victory.
Fri 12:54
> Watling said the issue uppermost in the minds of Russian planners was: “What is the technology that we can invest in that is good and cheap enough and delivers decisive results?”
Fri 12:54
> ... Analyses of Ukrainian air force data show that more drones are getting through: from close to 5% in March and April to between 15% and 20% in May and June ... “The Shahed problem has been foreseeable for some time. Russia has been asking itself: ‘What will be the T-34 of this war?’” said Jack Watling, a military expert with the Royal United Services Institute thinktank, referring to the tank that is considered by some to have helped the Soviets defeat the Nazis in the second world war.
Fri 12:52
> One day earlier this month, 728 drones and 13 missiles were launched, mostly at the western city of Lutsk, home to many Ukrainian airfields. Large salvoes now come more frequently: every three to five days, rather than every 10 to 12 ...
Fri 12:51
> Night by night, the blitz develops. Russian drones, decoys, cruise and ballistic missiles – increasingly aimed at a single city or location – are being launched in record numbers into Ukraine, straining the country’s ability to defend itself and raising questions about how well it can endure another winter of war.

Don't be used.
Thu 02:39
If EU / NATO is unwilling to support Ukraine's war by sending their soldier to fight the Russians, the best thing for Ukraine to do is negotiate for peace.
Thu 02:38

Thu 02:37
People make up nations and countries. The territory is irrelevant. That is why good political leaders prioritise the well being of their own people than fantasies of "victory at any cost" or "death rather than defeat".
Thu 02:35
And if they are likely to do so - we will negotiate for peace and conditionally surrender.
Thu 02:35
Today, China will find it very difficult to defeat us in a full blown war.
Thu 02:34
But we didn't obsess over our failures and instead worked to rebuild our economy and military.
Thu 02:34
India has done it too. We were defeated by the Chinese. We publicly accepted that they were stronger than us, and even made many political concessions to them over the decades.
Thu 02:31
And when Russia was weak, they took advantage of it to strengthen their position (joining NATO). Today, Russia cannot do anything about that.
Thu 02:30
The Finns too lost territory to Russia. They accepted neutrality. They focused on rebuilding their country.
Thu 02:29
Ukraine can do the same too.
Thu 02:27
Finland was forced to accept those same terms, and look at it now - its leaders were wise to prioritise ending the war over their own egos, the Finns didn't obsess about their failures and instead focused on rebuilding their country.
Thu 02:26
And it ends the killing and destruction of war.
Thu 02:26
But that's better than total military defeat and surrender and occupation!
Thu 02:25
Of course, it is humiliating to think another country is violating your sovereignty and forcing you to accept some terms that benefit it, rather than Ukraine.
Thu 02:24
Also, I really don't get, from a Ukrainian perspective (not the EU or US who have their own selfish agenda and do not have the best interest of Ukraine at heart) what's so bad about the terms currently offered by Russia?
Thu 02:22
---
Thu 02:22
That is why I am bluntly saying - How many more Ukrainians need to die, how much more territory does it need to lose, for Zelensky's ego?
Thu 02:20
So at this point it looks like he will only stop when Ukraine is fully defeated and haas to make an unconditional surrender.
Thu 02:19
This is why Zelensky is the problem - his political ego refuses to accept the reality of the situation of the war. Desperate to get a better hand, he keeps digging Ukraine to even worse scenarios.
Thu 02:18
In blunt terms, Ukraine not only doesn't have the upper hand, it's position is now even worse than before.
Thu 02:17
All the above is the current reality of the war.
