Thanks :)

Ok I get it. Basically it can never happen since the difference btwn $x^{x!}$ and $x!^x$ just keeps growing as x increases
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:59
Im just lacking the basics and its great to learn new things every day
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:58
I like to solve math in my free time
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:58
Thanks for teaching me :)
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:58
it was literally bugging me all day
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:57
That was annoying
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:57
Oh man
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:52
@DanielFischer That's strange since supposedly there were 2 instances where this was true
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:24
then what would our answer be?
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:24
and if x cant equal 0,1 and 2
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:24
@DanielFischer So basically this is only possible when $x /leq 2$
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:22
You still available to explain this to me?
math101
Sep 21, 2014 23:22
Im back
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:58
for x>2
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:58
Ok so in essence there is one prime that wont divide both sides of the equation
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:56
I follow that so far
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:55
okkkk
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:54
Therefore $x \leq 2$
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:53
otherwise I deem myself mentally disabled
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:52
lol I hope and pray this is what u meant
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:52
So you are saying that in order for that statement to be true you need a prime that divides both sides of the equation which is impossible for x>2
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:51
Ok I seeeeee
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:33
Still dont see a breakthrough
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:33
Im gonna play around with this one in my head
math101
Sep 21, 2014 20:20
ok
math101
Sep 21, 2014 19:54
Which theorem states that?
math101
Sep 21, 2014 19:54
That's interesting
math101
Sep 21, 2014 19:49
Its been bothering me alot
math101
Sep 21, 2014 19:49
Hey can you explain me how you have solved that question I posted earlier

math101
Sep 21, 2014 19:03

math101
Sep 21, 2014 18:34
When is the following statement true $x^{x!}=x!^{x}$ and $x \neq 0,1,2$
math101
Sep 21, 2014 18:32
Hi guys
math101
Sep 18, 2014 17:14
