Never resign, unless it is your choice and you have a signed contract for another job.

My guess is English firms deal with it in the same way German or French firms deal with it. (That is, in various ways).

Going back to static slides instead of PowerPoint presentations with overdone animations and stupid transitions? Where I can sign up for that?

Do you need any claim for legal action? You probably need some good claims to win a case, but I'm under the impression that in the US, you don't need much to take legal action. And Elon Musk has far deeper pockets to pay lawyers from than almost anyone else.

Switching accents/dialects isn't that hard. Actors do it all the time, and I know lots of people who speak accent/dialect free normally, but switch to the local lingo when with family.

I don't understand the sabotage actions of the sleeper agents. Destroying bridges and blocking passes are typical actions taken by defender, to stop or delay an invading army. What advantage is Hamia hoping to get if it finds bridges destroyed, and mountain passes blocked?

What do you think you are gaining by not doing an exit interview?

"Not on their FIRST entry to the USA" isn't quite correct. It would be "Not on their FIRST entry to the USA, using ESTA". That is, if you have entered the USA before, but before ESTA was in place, you still cannot use the automated machines.

@vsz This isn't about translating the name New Zealand to Maori. The sticking point is that the country, originally populated by the Maori, is named after a region in Europe. Just translating the name doesn't solve that.

Why is your company paying people who want to do bad things? If your users are knowingly doing, or trying to do, bad things, they shouldn't be your users.

You should be free to not disclose your current salary, but do not tell lies during your hiring process.

Just because work provides free lunches doesn't mean you have to eat lunch with your coworkers. Many companies have a large cafeteria where you can pick up food buffet style, and have tables and chair to set down and eat your meal. The only difference between "free" and "non-free" is whether you have to pay for the food. Whether you eat lunch alone or together depends on the culture in the company, not whether it's free or not.

It's not the hours which matter. Ask yourself two things. "Does the meeting add value to my work?". "Does my presence add value to work of the other participants in the meeting?". If the answer to both questions is no, you shouldn't be in the meeting. If either answer is "I don't know" -- find out.

I guess the upshot is that this will settle the question whether an unborn fetus is a live human or not, assuming at least one pregnant woman survives.

I'm just wondering what poor ticketing system you're using where an admin can't undo the action person X did on date Y. (Or at least, select any ticket he touched on that date).

While I would also be annoyed by someone demanding an apology, I do wonder why you prefer to write a question on stackexchange about this over just writing a few short lines with an apology. This isn't about you: whenever you're talking to someone outside of your organization, you're talking on behalf of that organization. Just spend a minute writing the email and move on.
