They tend to list the plural forms together, then all the meanings - not saying if you can (or can't) use them all interchangeably!
May 24, 2020 21:40
Yeah, wasn't sure myself so I thought I'd mention it. It's difficult to find somewhere that differentiates the plurals
May 24, 2020 21:35
But that could be a localisation thing...

@ifconfig I think the plural of antenna in a technical context is antennas, and biological is antennae? (drones.stackexchange.com/posts/120/revisions)

Thanks

I added the markdown, but I want the picture in case others don't have the problem.

Feel free to comment saying you have the same problem - as you do!

So it is ... this must be a bug?

^ I think that is the right solution (-:

But yes, it isn't quite what was asked for

I'm thinking that code block in spoiler might substitute for block quote by giving some visual distinction

(Appears the markdown works in chat though)

@Daniil have you tried >! Text ?

Yes, I've seen a couple of planes that use them to hold on the wings; I wasn't sure how common that. Although only yesterday I came across an aircraft that uses rubber bands to hold the propeller on!
May 13, 2020 07:29
No worries, just thought I'd check so you know it wasn't personal!
May 13, 2020 07:28
@ifconfig I did include my thinking about that edit (-: drones.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/482 "When I think 'rubber band plane' I think of an aircraft using the bands for thrust ... but if enough other users agree to the edit, then fair enough."

It could perhaps be more about whether someone has first-hand experience, or knows of an official/reputable source providing clarification?

I'm biased, but I think so. The current Meta consensus is that regulation questions are OK. If it was more along the lines of "If I do X, is the building under my control" then it would be less on-topic; as it stands, it just quotes the relevant regulations from a 137-page document which could otherwise be fairly inaccessible to a newcomer.

Likewise - I think we are starting to get a good base of questions and answers.
Apr 17, 2020 15:47
Ah yes; that sounds fine
Apr 17, 2020 15:47
No worries; I presume that's related to your removing it from the Puerto Rico post for being too broad?
