@tush Accumulate[l1]
Apr 6, 2022 20:10
@gwr I've seen that too. When the font is italic is almost impossible to place the cursor in the correct location.
Mar 25, 2022 21:00
I cant say for sure it ever had that disclaimer. I just know that it's an older "forum" for Mathematica questions.
Mar 25, 2022 20:56
@NikeDattani MathGroup?
Mar 25, 2022 18:55
@dtn Maybe check out Wolfram SystemModeler?
Nov 29, 2021 15:36
@ChrisK Yep!
Nov 9, 2021 18:06
@user82663 perhaps the web-based version is a possibility? (i.e. Wolfram|One or Mathematica Online)

@lonestudent
{Root[82944 - 36000*#1 + 3845*#1^2 - 150*#1^3 + 2*#1^4 & , 1, 0],
Root[82944 - 36000*#1 + 3845*#1^2 - 150*#1^3 + 2*#1^4 & , 2, 0],
Root[82944 - 36000*#1 + 3845*#1^2 - 150*#1^3 + 2*#1^4 & , 2, 0],
Root[82944 - 36000*#1 + 3845*#1^2 - 150*#1^3 + 2*#1^4 & , 1, 0]}
Aug 19, 2021 14:52
@lonestudent I see no reason there should be a "nice number" answer, and of course there isn't just one answer.
Jun 18, 2021 13:54
@Szabolcs, I don't think it's just you. In fact, I don't think its even M.SE specific. In general Q&A sites have hit the wall.
Jun 1, 2021 20:07
I believe Region[RegularPolygon[6]] should work, but also functions like Area should work on Polygon already.
Apr 7, 2021 18:26
@Tomi en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norm_(mathematics) check out the section Taxicab norm or Manhattan norm
Jan 30, 2021 19:58
jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjiooooooo
Dec 9, 2020 17:45
@MichaelHale That is quite impressive. I'd love to see his notebook in action.
Jul 30, 2020 15:11
If you want to keep it a `Graphics`, this function might be useful:
drainColor[g_Graphics]:= g/.c_RGBColor:> ColorConvert[c,"Grayscale"]
Jul 28, 2020 15:51
I wonder what the longest duration of time between chat messages in here is? 3 days has be pretty close I'd think.
May 13, 2020 17:22
ds[All, Norm[{#x, #y, #z}] &]?
Apr 27, 2020 21:54
You could do something like:

ParametricPlot[Evaluate@Tuples[x/.{Solve[x^2==u,x],Solve[-2x^2+3==u,x]}],{u,0,10}]
Apr 10, 2020 18:57
What are the key differences between ClusteringTree and Dendogram?
Apr 2, 2020 21:12
@jose How can I make sure I have the latest paclet update? I don't want to necessarily crash my session testing this out.
Mar 5, 2020 17:26
lol
Mar 5, 2020 17:26
ReplacePart[list, {_, 2} -> {x, y}]? I suspect I am missing something
Oct 15, 2019 14:22
probably best to keep that in a Module
Oct 15, 2019 14:21
very true!
Oct 15, 2019 14:20
@Szabolcs Yes, maybe something like dataset[All, {"a" -> ( #/Once[dataset[Norm, "a"]] &)}] then?
Oct 15, 2019 14:19
@Szabolcs I have used: dataset[All, <|#, "d" -> (Total[#c]/#a)|> &].
Oct 15, 2019 14:15
@Szabolcs dataset[All, {"a" -> ( #/dataset[Norm, "a"] &)}] maybe? That's what I have used in the past.

f[e_] := 10 Count[e, Power[_, -1], {0, Infinity}] +10 Count[e, Plus, {0, Infinity}, Heads -> True] + LeafCount[e]
Sep 27, 2019 19:27
@bobthechemist you might also look into changing the ComplexityFunction for Simplify
Sep 9, 2019 20:46
:P
Sep 9, 2019 20:46
WolframAlpha["list of US presidents",{{"Result",1},"ComputableData"},PodStates->{"Result__More"}]
Jun 20, 2019 00:15
@b3m2a1 windows 10
Jun 19, 2019 22:40
@b3m2a1 sorry, but installed them a while back so I forget

Jun 19, 2019 20:17
Outer[Style["abc", 50, FontFamily -> "CMU Serif", FontWeight -> #1, FontSlant -> #2] &, {Plain, Bold}, {Plain, Italic}]?
May 3, 2019 19:11
it's my naive semantic web
May 3, 2019 19:11
or any Entity + Property
May 3, 2019 19:11
in principle, one could have any entity listed there, you can swap Spain with Portugal
May 3, 2019 19:08
so the URLs are real
May 3, 2019 19:08
I am envisioning combining URLDispatcherwith this
May 3, 2019 19:06
indeed
May 3, 2019 19:04
@CarlLange thanks an example here is very useful for me
May 3, 2019 18:53
yeah something like that, could even start with something simpler (tabular data)
May 3, 2019 18:50
Is there a straightforward(ish) way to push a dataset (or group of associations) to an RDF Dataset (maybe this question doesn't even make sense)
May 3, 2019 18:48
I think there is an interesting set of opportunities if one could use SPARQL to access Entities (especially in conjunction with other knowlegde graphs).
May 3, 2019 18:42
Would you expect this to work?
SPARQLSelect[
RDFTriple[{SPARQLVariable["country"],
EntityProperty["Country", "Name"],
SPARQLVariable["countryName"]}]][
EntityList@EntityClass["Country", "GroupOf8"]]
May 1, 2019 16:31
What would be the advantage then? I guess I haven't seen an example where this seems useful (yet).
