Yeah, figured I should stop by and see how everyone was doing :)
Nov 4, 2015 12:35
Hello everyone! :)
May 15, 2013 13:51
Low compared to what?
May 15, 2013 12:57
It's the physical equivalent of "why does this form field look like this"
May 15, 2013 12:57
@BenBrocka I guess that's true.
May 15, 2013 11:53
(having said that we can never have too many physical questions)
May 15, 2013 11:53
well it seems healthy enough
May 15, 2013 11:41
How is everything going here?
May 15, 2013 11:37
And, plus side, working from home
May 15, 2013 11:37
so my opinions (mostly revolving around the idea that UX is important) might actually be listened to finally :D
May 15, 2013 11:36
Well, just got a new job. And I'm now finally in a role where I get to do web design / hire web designers
May 15, 2013 11:30
hey Pesikar, how are you?
May 15, 2013 10:45
Hello all. :)
Feb 13, 2013 12:25
Especially editing.
Feb 13, 2013 12:25
Replying and editing are the big ones.
Feb 12, 2013 11:35
The internet is so ugly. :(
Feb 12, 2013 11:35
Unfortunately at work I have to have adblock disabled, at least in part because I work with online advertising. :S
Feb 12, 2013 11:32
But yes, on second inspection this one is clickable too.
Feb 12, 2013 11:31
@JonW I'm thinking more of things like gsmarena.com
Feb 12, 2013 11:30
It's also horrible because most of the time the ad means I can't click on the background to get focus on the window in order to scroll.
Feb 5, 2013 16:09
I love that it just says "threat detected" but doesn't explain what the threat might be
Feb 4, 2013 17:54
it's a holdover from the old days when degrees used to last seven years
Feb 4, 2013 17:54
@JohnGB I did a BA, but after 21 terms you get "upgraded" to an MA
Feb 4, 2013 16:07
This is the first time I've ever seen it
Feb 4, 2013 16:07
@JohnGB The Community Evaluation queue? Doesn't everyone get that?
Feb 4, 2013 13:36
So the Community Evaluation review queue is interesting
Feb 2, 2013 01:57
@johngb Oxford degree.
Feb 1, 2013 18:12
woo archaic traditions
Feb 1, 2013 18:10
No need to go back to university, and I can use the same initials as everyone else :P
Feb 1, 2013 18:09
I got an MA for free. :D
Jan 31, 2013 11:08
probably an insta-close

Q: looking 4 a tool to write on a computer screen

marioI try to describe a tool I would like to use and hope somebody has already invented. Consider how you may overwrite, underline, highlight or circle an element on a projected screen thanks to a interactive-projector http://www.projectorcentral.com/interactive-projectors.htm When I need in my cla...

Jan 30, 2013 17:29
(hurr hurr)
Jan 30, 2013 17:29
6.3 inches is probably too much
Jan 30, 2013 17:28
Not sure whether I'd go for the Note 3 though, I think I would have to try it - the Note 2 is right on the edge of what I'd consider comfortable to use.
Jan 30, 2013 17:26
Yeah, I'm really happy with the build quality I've seen from recent droids. I've currently got the Note 2 and it's a beautiful phone
Jan 30, 2013 16:59
To be fair BlackBerry were guilty of that with the 9800
Jan 30, 2013 16:58
@BenBrocka In my experience droids with keyboards all flop because they have terrible build quality, haven't been marketed at all, and usually have pretty bad form factors (slide or clamshell designs, I'm looking at you).
Jan 30, 2013 16:55
@BenBrocka Yep. Most people don't want hardware keyboards. For those who do, there's BlackBerry.
Jan 30, 2013 16:53
@BenBrocka It's not an amazing feature, but it's important to a lot of people. There basically aren't any other smartphones with hardware keyboards any more.
Jan 30, 2013 16:47
They just refuse to acknowledge that this market exists for some reason. Like they're still clinging onto themselves as being the "business" brand.
Jan 30, 2013 16:46
Especially in the poorer demographics
Jan 30, 2013 16:46
You'd be surprised, actually, they have a really strong market amongst young teens
Jan 30, 2013 15:43
@BenBrocka Yeah
Jan 30, 2013 15:18
And I don't mean the shitty american version, either, I mean the super-cringe-inducing UK version
Jan 30, 2013 15:18
Yeah I can't watch this any more. This is worse than watching The Office.
Jan 30, 2013 15:17
"I said I wouldn't cut my hair until BlackBerry 10 was launched" WAT
Jan 30, 2013 15:16
And some guy just got his hair cut on the livestream
Jan 30, 2013 15:13
They can't stop talking about how "excited" they all are. Seriously. Everyone is "incredibly excited" or "over-the-top excited".
Jan 30, 2013 15:13
So the BlackBerry 10 event just started
