^The third encounter, she began this again and tried to tell me that I did something wrong that she already told me to do, but I actually did do what she asked of me. That is when we started to argue. I was angry, of course, but still trying to remain professional; however, she really lost her cool. I have seen people in nasty moods, but her behavior was like nothing I have ever encountered.

^To elaborate: on "she spoke to me in an angry way"...she basically talked to me like I was an absolute idiot, talked down to me, and was more aggressive than a person would normally be in this situation. The others said this was frequently how she behaved.

@1006a So, the supervisor was far more upset than I was and was "trying to tech me a lesson". I would characterize the way she spoke to make as very much condescending like I was a total idiot (consistent with the experience of the other lab members). The first two times she spoke to me in an angry way, I remained calm and professional, and agreed to correct the problems she had. The third time, I argued back, but was not aggressive. She went insane.

Good question Thomas. To clarify, I was not sure that they were warning me away at the time. It wasn't implied to stay away strongly enough to get the message quite frankly. Honestly, I thought I was being paranoid since I'm a bit neurotic anyhow. But I found out that they were warning me away after I arrived.
