@NotTheDr01ds Oh well, there was an another room for off-topic conversations as well because sometimes you may want to continue off-topic conversations. Seems its frozen now.
Jun 13 18:01
Oh well, many things have changed meanwhile. Hi @NotTheDr01ds, congratulations!!!

Bad timing!!!
Mar 23, 2022 08:10
Ughh!!! I was trying to demonstrate that if someone replies 'why" to the report, it would return breakdown of the score
Mar 23, 2022 08:08
@Natty alive
Mar 23, 2022 08:07

@NotTheDr01ds Yes, but I think this PEP is no longer "valid" since Python 2 is dead
Feb 2, 2022 15:22
Majorly I use Java but I have also written some PHP and bash scripts.
Feb 2, 2022 15:21
@NotTheDr01ds IMHO, using a language/framework depends on particular use case
Feb 2, 2022 15:20
@NotTheDr01ds Yes, migrations are costly and may not guarantee full compatibility. For example, we're still working on OpenJDK 8 and our servers are still on CentOS. However since RHEL "killed" CentOS, we're in process of migrating them
Feb 2, 2022 15:18
@Kulfy Correction: even in 18.04, python used to point to python2
Feb 2, 2022 15:07
PEP #394 is extremely relevant in these scenarios.
Feb 2, 2022 15:05
2 years back I even added this in one my answers on askubuntu.com/questions/1165360
Feb 2, 2022 15:05
It was only after 20.04, Ubuntu has python-is-python3 package which essentially creates symlink to python3.

Mar 23, 2022 16:52
@OlegValteriswithUkraine I see. Would that work for previous elections as well?
Mar 23, 2022 16:51
Seems election bot itself went to water plants
Mar 23, 2022 08:38
Indeed
Mar 23, 2022 08:36
@BeastOfCaerbannog Umm.. What if someone cleared their vote after casting? It'll be an edge case
Mar 23, 2022 08:35
I believe both would return more or less the same result
Mar 23, 2022 08:35
But counting from starting of election phase also makes sense.
Mar 23, 2022 08:34
Actually I mentioned 1 week since voting phase lasts for 1 week
Mar 23, 2022 08:07
Every
Mar 23, 2022 07:55
@SamuelLiew Out of curiosity, does election bot check number of constituent badges awarded in last 1 week on AU in order to calculate number of users voted so far?
Mar 18, 2022 10:06
Thanks :)
Mar 18, 2022 08:13
Hmm.. Interesting
Mar 18, 2022 08:13
@ElectionBot What is my score?
Mar 18, 2022 08:12
@ElectionBot What is the candidate score for @353375?
Mar 18, 2022 08:10
@RandomPerson I'm still figuring out 🤷🏽‍♂️
