@Kusalananda The comment says KA sometext HA some text RI. It seemed to me that word comes from you name. Incidentally the comment was on your answer.
Nov 3, 2024 18:49
If not forgotten to the last word in this comment is comes from name?

@Kusalananda Hello
Oct 4, 2024 19:47
Thanks @jesse_b
Oct 4, 2024 19:47
So it's count+=($i=="").
Oct 4, 2024 17:37
AWK. Small C Lang.
Oct 4, 2024 17:33
I want to know about expression count+=$i=="" in the answer.
Oct 4, 2024 17:32
@jesse_b I'm well now. How are you?
Oct 4, 2024 17:31
Hi @jesse_b
Dec 6, 2023 11:44
Question and question can be solved with same answer. Kindly see.

I'd purchased awk manual under a moderator's influence. Mod's coworker used to say that with awk you can do anything you want to do if not forgotten.
Nov 6, 2023 13:26
@FaheemMitha I don't know. But @StephenKitt is one of contributors of Miller.
Nov 6, 2023 13:25
@Kusalananda I would be grateful to you if you would suggest me a pdf about recent version.
Nov 6, 2023 13:22
@Kusalananda I read Arnold Robbins 's awk manual and John Kerl's Miller book. But Ed Morton, afshin, AdminBee, steeldriver, Aborusso and your influence is no less. I thank all these people.
Nov 6, 2023 12:56
But I'm using Miller 6.8.0.
Nov 6, 2023 12:48
But much has changed since then.

Nov 6, 2023 12:42
@Kusalananda Don't say thanks. I've learnt so many things from you. And still learning.
Nov 6, 2023 12:40
I've heard about kv, nv, kvx and nvx split functions but not about splita(). This is new thing.
Nov 6, 2023 12:36
@Kusalananda Yes. So with gsub() it's not possible to get desired result.
Nov 6, 2023 12:01
It replaces \t with space. How that replacement can be done?
Nov 6, 2023 11:58
`mlr --tsv -N put '$* = {1:$1, 2:gs
ub($5, " ", OFS)}'` or `2:gs
ub($5, " ", OFS)` doesn't replace space with <tab>.
Nov 6, 2023 11:57
Hi @Kusalananda.
Aug 21, 2023 18:10
And Tony Speight for $1 = $1. It can change $0 with OFS.
Aug 21, 2023 18:08
I'm grateful to you for this.
Aug 21, 2023 18:08
@Kusalananda I'm not arguing. Till this day I have never seen y command. I was just saying it's not better than 'tr` because of character class.
Aug 18, 2023 15:31
reshape and nest are lovely verbs of Miller.
Aug 13, 2023 19:08
awk expression is easy but mlr is hard to understand. And question too seems cryptic.
Aug 13, 2023 18:58
@Kusalananda Good to see you are answering the questions now. I upvoted the answer with `mlr
--pass-comments-with='*'` command.
Jul 22, 2023 18:22
The rmarkdown too uses LaTeX.
Jul 22, 2023 18:19
@FaheemMitha OK.
Jul 22, 2023 18:13
@FaheemMitha What is harm in using LaTeX?
Jul 22, 2023 18:12
This is another way to get pdf.
Jul 22, 2023 18:07
Under your influence I learnt LaTeX. And now you aren't using it. Strange thing.
Jul 22, 2023 18:05
@FaheemMitha Then try groff. Kusalananda ji told me about it once. nroff.
Jul 22, 2023 18:02
Perhaps there is save as pdf option in libre office.
Jul 22, 2023 18:01
@FaheemMitha LaTeX and groff.
Mar 25, 2023 05:23
What is network topology? And it's types.
Mar 2, 2023 20:07
Thanks jesse_b and Kusalananda
Mar 2, 2023 20:06
14479305 is there four times in input but in output three times. 13222989 is two times both in input and output file.
Mar 2, 2023 20:03
@Kusalananda So all duplicate records by 1, 3 and 4 fields.
Mar 2, 2023 20:01
Plus first two records in input file are same.
Mar 2, 2023 19:59
To get all duplicate records or only first duplicate record because the output file given by OP isn't clear.
Mar 2, 2023 19:57
In this question what OP wants?
Mar 2, 2023 19:41
Are you around?
Mar 2, 2023 19:41
@Kusalananda Hi.
Feb 1, 2023 12:03
