Hello DBA friends! I have some big news about SQL Fiddle - I just rolled out a major new revamp of the system. I am hoping that this new version will be dramatically more reliable than the site has been. I could use your help though, to make sure everything is still working as expected. Thanks!

I've rolled out a major backend replacement for SQL Fiddle - hopefully it will be much faster and more stable from here on out. Let me know if you guys have any trouble

@MikeFal well, in all honesty I've found a lot of smart people on SO. But I will make it very clear about the risks involved

A smart person would only connect to a back-up machine running outside their company's firewall

Sure, I will be up-front about the fact that anyone making use of this feature is completely responsible for the impact on their system

This will open up a lot more potential use cases, I think

I am planning on adding the option to connect to your own database server, rather than having to provide your schema ddl and run on my machines

btw I wonder what you all think of a feature I'm (slowly) working on....
