@Tinkeringbell Technically, the problem is with other people, but I think managing someone's stubbornness is an important skill to learn in such situations, which is why I tried focusing my question on how I should respond
@ExtrovertedMainMan It seems like people are confusing my question for "how to reject tech support", which is very different from my intention with the question. I've edited it to clarify where I thought there might be misunderstanding, but I'd like to know how else I can edit it so that it's clearer. Should I just remove the "tech support" example altogether? I feel like that would make it too vague/broad
@LinuxBlanket Probably late for the subject but I went through a very similar experience to Ash's response. As for the current book subject, from about the end of last year to today, I've read 3 books and am almost done with the 4th. I only have about half an hour per day to read it at lunch break. I mean, I could read before bed, but I'm lazy
I was just going to ask about the question above. How on-topic is it? Especially considering it's asking a "how to convince [someone] of [something]", which to my knowledge is unclear as to topicality, but generally frowned upon
