@bolbteppa, When you say diagonalize do you mean take a change of variables? Or do you mean just re-express this exponential? I'm afraid my calculus background is a bit weak, not very familiar with integrating forms

Suppose I know that $|a-b|>t$. Can this lead to an inequality of the form $|a-b|>f(t,\epsilon)?$

Intuitively the above shows that $TA\approx TB$ and multiplying by $T^{-1}$ we have that $A\approx B$...

If $T$ is an invertible matrix, and for matrices $B$ and $C$, and we have that $\|TA-TB\|<\epsilon$, can we say that $A$ and $B$ are close to each other in some sense?
