As the part they sent superseded the original regardless if it fits or not.
Oct 4, 2021 22:14
By wrong part they didn’t accidentally send the wrong item but told me if it doesnt fit go to a breakers for the original.
Oct 4, 2021 22:11
any case should I tell them they should not be selling it as it doesn’t fit or will they just not give a damn/tell me to write to head office or something? Thanks

It cost me near £30 I wanted to take it back for a refund. I just wanted to ask do you think I am wasting my time and petrol going to them as they will notice and blame the chip on me or is it should I go and say it was already like that/is there a chance I’d get a refund?
Oct 4, 2021 22:03
Hi guys. This oil filler cap I bought from Honda was the wrong item. Besides the fact that I tried to tighten it unused. I did manage to get it off. However if you look closely at the bottom of the screw part there is a small chip. This could have been there before purchase or I could have done it.

Guys, regarding the ulez which is being extended to Greater London in October then further beyond after that. Besides an engine swap or paying the charge or relocating, can u think of any other way(even a scam lol) with which to work around it?

Sorry, I meant if it’s worth investing £50 more on a battery? My cheapest option is a £60 lion and bosh is the more at just over £100. Will it make any real difference which I buy? Hope u can answer. Thanks

My cars are 40-60 amps so I think this is about right. I guess I can leave it in overnight and when it’s fully powered it will switch itself off or is that not the case and if I don’t do it it will daMage the battery? Thanks
Sep 22, 2020 01:39
Will this do the job or is there a catch that it doesn’t cost over £50

Headlights, bonnet, wing, front n rear bumper. Wheels, Door, mostly body parts. Am however hoping I can go in and buy them for next to nothing rather than buy on eBay which will add up I’m sure. CAr is worth £400 so don’t wanna be spending.

Hi guys. I need a number of parts for my car(hyundaibcoupe 2.0 2006). I could source them on eBay etc but I’m wondering if there’s a car salvage I can go to where they allow you to dismantle the parts yourself and take them at an even cheaper price. Is this a common or easy to find thing or do I am better if searching for already broken parts at salvages and on eBay etc? Thanks.

Hi guys. Quick question if I don’t mind. I'm looking at buying a car pegeout 807 which according to the MOT history had a minor gear box oil leak which was corrected immediately after the MOT failed.

The car did 4077 mile in that year. I'm thinking perhaps the oil could have leaked out at slow pace and then been driven around with no gear box oil for say 2000 miles.

If so would this cause any issues or is it unlikely any significant amount of oil drained out. The car is an auto how can I know if the gearbox was affected? Provided there are no noises should I assume all is well and just

hello guys. i have just posted a question in the last 40 moinutes or so. I cannot see it in my activity, does that mean its waiting to get approved or have I just not posted it?
Oct 8, 2018 02:06
Anyway I'll see how they react but I suspected this is one job they should not have messed up, and if I have to deal with a gasket now, like you say it is largely due to their negligence.
Oct 8, 2018 02:03
@Myself while I know there was definitely a leak, I don't know if it was due to a hole in the radiator, however they told me there was. It is one of the more trusted garages local to me, friend recommended it and they're usually booked up so I took their word for it. When I said second chance I meant should I use them again because you seem to be thinking the same thing as me - this is incompetence of the highest level.
Oct 7, 2018 12:34
If you don't mind, please advise. Thanks.
Oct 7, 2018 12:33
obviously i should wait to find cause, but I think I saw water leaking from the same place it was last time - under radiator area and connect hose. I didn't ask on site because this answers would probably be considered opinion based.
Oct 7, 2018 12:30
Anyway my question is, is this something that I should forgive since a poor radiator not finding the original(must have been large leak)or poor installation is something mechanics get wrong as human error. Or should I not forgive it since how could someone come to you with a leaking radiator, you then put a new one in and the guys coolant is gone next day too with potential head gasket failure.
Oct 7, 2018 12:26
Hi Guys, I had my car overheat due to leak(hole in radiator). Garage put new radiator in, i drove it for an hour but the next day it overheated again due to coolant disappearing. can't see from where but im guessing its loose hose and may even be radiator issue. basically it seems garage didnt find original leaks or did a bad job on the new install. I may/may not have a bad head gasket now.
Oct 3, 2018 11:51
yeah, i've already promised myself i will never buy another lowered car again, i've found that the main issue is speed humps constantly scraping my exhaust and the anxiety of going over humps is just not worth it. Do pot holes tend to be very deep where you're from, i'm in the city and pot holes don't tend to be that deep.
Oct 3, 2018 10:16
is it really beyond repair and so i should just superglue it temporarily or replace it, do body shops not have a way of fixing it, wouldn't they weld it together or something? thanks

Does the sauce you recommended get absorbed by the pasta or just stay on the surface?

does anyone know if this only applies to insoluble fiber or both fibers. I imagine, unlike nsoluble fiber, if soluble fiber is boiled or steamed, it will be affected by the water?

hi guys. i was searching for the saturated fat content of mackerel and google said 7g in 100g. This isnt consistent with other nutrition data i'm looking at which show 3g in 100g. If you don't mind me asking, do you think that maybe a mistake they put the 7g? I dont remember seeing much saturated fat in mackerel. thanks

hi guys. just wanted to ask, when you broil say lamb chops, all the fat comes out and drips onto the foil underneath the skillet. I dont believe anybody eats this oil generally speaking. Do you know if and why there is anything wrong with eating this oil?

sorry, i meant 'does not apply to soluble fiber and so...'
Feb 2, 2018 18:56
if i may ask, does the answer apply to both soluble and insoluble fiber? i imagine since the definition of soluble is to dissolve in water, perhaps it does not apply to insoluble fiber and so when foods are boiled or steamed, much of the soluble fiber leaks out into the liquid? thanks
