Yeah I understand, that is why he went the route of offering the array or json config files for performance.

Tbh... I think most of his focus is on the PRO version (version 5.*) which is the money maker.

Currently 220 issues on GH, last commit October 24th :)

Actually ACF isn't that bad... You can declare fields programmatically much like you would any other framework and out of all the shitty frameworks that exist for this purpose, it is one of the better ones. So I've come to surmise after being forced into using it on several projects.

according to meta you cannot revert your edit, you either need to wait for it to be approved or rejected... if it has already been approved, then submit another edit I would suggest, fixing the problem.
Nov 22, 2016 11:14
which edit? just edit it again
Nov 22, 2016 11:14

Yeah everyone needs a good release... I watched a walk through on HS a while back, looks pretty good. Anyway just saw that MtG come up on the feed, remember you mentioned playing it.

Jul 6, 2016 12:18
Wet dreams do come true...
Jul 6, 2016 11:57

Jul 6, 2016 11:52
come on now, you should have known what was up when I said "good"
Jul 6, 2016 11:51
Jul 6, 2016 11:49
Customizer API is really good
Jul 6, 2016 11:40
The Fields API is a lot like looking into the sun...
Jul 6, 2016 11:39
The REST API on the other hand I have a real use and need for in production projects... I was just a bit amazed at the "don't give a rats" attitude towards a fundamental design flaw in the REST API itself that could easily be avoided simply by adding a suffix to a filter! The backward thinking that because core doesn't address collision issues on CPT and taxon names doesn't have any bearing on writing good shit in the REST API - but apparently I am wrong.
Jul 6, 2016 11:37
@MarkKaplun oh... already looked at the fields API, f**K that thing...
Jul 6, 2016 08:38
It's WordPress, someone always gets hurt!
Jul 6, 2016 08:35
humans are in infallible
Jul 6, 2016 08:30
who am I to argue with their demi-god
Jul 6, 2016 08:26
@Rarst definitely understand that for some situations, but to say you wont make your filter more context appropriate because core doesn't to me is just perpetuating poor form... but hey, WP right... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Jul 6, 2016 07:48
Jul 6, 2016 07:48
I think I worked it out...
Jul 6, 2016 07:27
@Rarst Certainly seems that way after traversing through its code. I would have thought that the REST API, at the very least, would be an opportunity for some kind of fresh start... boy was I wrong, same shit, same attitudes :/
Jul 6, 2016 06:10
REST API should be a clean slate not to perpetuate confusion found in core WP API, but alas... wontfix. Sad. github.com/WP-API/WP-API/issues/1202
Jul 6, 2016 03:46
@Howdy_McGee the first returns the URI the latter returns the path, two different use cases... neither contains a trailing slash
Apr 15, 2016 13:24
yeah it will, for your plugin
Apr 15, 2016 13:22
@Sisir is it your addon or a 3rd party?
Apr 15, 2016 13:14
oh well better luck next time then :D
Apr 15, 2016 13:12
hey
Apr 15, 2016 13:09
@CoderSte WPRemote still works, it's just a product that's no longer for "sale", just free... it was originally an internal tool for their team. Works pretty well for a light weight solution for updating multiple sites.
Apr 13, 2016 03:12
@toscho misusing in what way?
Apr 11, 2016 14:12
oh haha i get the joke now
Apr 11, 2016 14:12
What's the issue exactly?
Apr 11, 2016 14:12
:D been a long time watcher
Apr 11, 2016 13:42
@kaiser busy boy on filterama, from v0.1.2 to v0.5.0 in an 1hr and half :)
Apr 3, 2016 10:04
You can juse use JS Date API for that, you don't need to fall on system timezone
Apr 3, 2016 06:11
@Sisir not sure what you mean exactly? like context... you have full JS API available to you so can that not suffice? Are you trying to change system time or?
Apr 3, 2016 04:28
@Sisir yeah... it's pretty easy too with the new high level/low level apis.
Mar 28, 2016 06:42
@MarkKaplun this sh*t storm is not new, it was reported in npm-land well over a year ago. But now it's been exacerbated by the recent mass exodus of modules from Azer. Raises a very good point though... How secure is the WP.org repo in preventing against hacks being injected into the repo undetected?
Mar 24, 2016 14:22
lol
Mar 24, 2016 11:09
it's good to see alternatives out there at least
Mar 24, 2016 11:06
I'd go for OSS approach if it were me and monetize extensions
Mar 24, 2016 11:06
yeah, different approach... probably part of the reason why it's not seen everywhere is because it's semi-commercial or restricted version (free version) yet completely extensible.
Mar 24, 2016 11:04
yeah it's strange...
