@RoryAlsop are talks from Securi-Tay available online?
Jan 6, 2013 10:01
How to be notified about new questions at followed tags at SO? Currently I use email notfications (once per 15 minutes) but by the time I get notification, question is already answered.
Jan 4, 2013 07:30
@LucasKauffman Could you put me in the list too?
Jan 3, 2013 20:43
What level of knowledge is expected from one participating in Security SE CTF?
When and where will it occur?
Jan 2, 2013 20:18
How to subscribe to Imperial violet? I find this blog very useful. Does anyone know?
Dec 22, 2012 14:46
Yes, it is. But why it's not possible to open _blank in new tab if they are in iframe?
Dec 22, 2012 14:18
@ScottPack I think that to allow opening of _blank links in new tab, I should set sandbox="allow-top-navigation". But it's not secure.
I don't know a method that won't restrict important iframe's functionality but will alow opening links in new tab/window
Dec 22, 2012 13:03
@RoryAlsop Why? Is sandboxing flawed?
Dec 22, 2012 12:07
I wrote a question but nobody answered it ((. Is there an answer to it? Is it so complex?
Dec 19, 2012 20:22
I'm interested in a couple of talks - yours and another Rory
Dec 19, 2012 20:21
@RoryAlsop Will screencasts/presentations be available after Securi-Tay 2?
Dec 18, 2012 19:57
@RoryAlsop Ruby page was an example
Dec 18, 2012 19:16
@RoryAlsop It's not possible to subscribe to specific product from page you linked. Only to all products
Dec 18, 2012 17:40
@RoryAlsop Regarding your edit in security.stackexchange.com/a/25571/5501. I meant not this form - cvedetails.com/vulnerability-feeds-form.php
Dec 18, 2012 11:13
50 is enough
Dec 18, 2012 11:09
It's good
Dec 18, 2012 11:05
Should it be edited?
Dec 18, 2012 11:05
Was my question badly formulated?
Dec 18, 2012 11:05
Yes
Dec 18, 2012 11:04
Answer "Use CVE details' Vulnerability Feeds & Widgets for product or vendor" looks good to me
Dec 18, 2012 11:03
I still think that my question isn't a shopping list and isn't a dup
Dec 18, 2012 11:02
Oh, I found it! CVE Details vendors and products contain Vulnerability Feeds & Widgets so I can subscribe to vulnerabilities only in those products
Dec 18, 2012 10:54
Why such service isn't written yet? Do you think it's not needed?
Dec 18, 2012 10:53
In my opinion it looks easy to write a service that will parse CVE db. Each entity contains "Vulnerable software and versions"
Dec 18, 2012 10:46
The options are free
Dec 18, 2012 10:46
This question is shopping recomendation too
Dec 18, 2012 10:43
What do you use to be alerted that about vulnerabilites in product XXX that is used in your organisation?
Dec 18, 2012 10:42
It doesn't become too localised. Exact products aren't specified in question
Dec 18, 2012 10:37
So I think my question isn't a dup.
Dec 18, 2012 10:36
But I don't want to see information about vulnerabilities in all products. I use only a subset of products and I want to see vulnerabilities only in those products. I don't want to be subscribed to vulnerabilities in service XXX if I don't use it.
Dec 18, 2012 10:33
My question was closed as exact duplicate. That another question advices to use securityfocus.com/bid, packetstormsecurity.org, cve.mitre.org/cve/data_updates.html, exploit-db.com. However mailing lists/RSS feeds that I found at those sites provide information about all vulnerabilities in all products.
Dec 17, 2012 19:12
@Iszi I saw it. It's the reason I decided to ask
Dec 17, 2012 19:10
Or is bad tone
Dec 17, 2012 19:10
Does anybody talk about security here?
Nov 26, 2012 21:44
But I still have non constructive question...
Nov 26, 2012 21:44
@Iszi RORY ALL THE RORYS. It's a bit higher priority I think
Nov 26, 2012 21:26
Some existing guides that I saw are very abstract (like OWASP testing guide), other one are too incomplete. Personally when I see something interesting, write it to my notes but I hope that someone saw guide/cheatsheat that is useful and isn't too abstract
Nov 26, 2012 21:22
What cheatsheets/testing guides do you consider useful when testing web applications?
Nov 18, 2012 10:23
Nov 13, 2012 19:24
@RoryMcCune I'd like to see them too
Nov 13, 2012 19:12
@RoryMcCune Thank you for response :) Is Dominator Pro better in finding DOM XSS than community version? At their site they tell about GUI, support and knowledge base but those things seem to be not of first importance
Nov 13, 2012 19:00
Previously I used DOM Snitch for finding DOM XSS vulnerbailities however it never found anything (and I don't know if they existed). Now I want to try something other. Will free version of Dominator be better?
Nov 13, 2012 18:55
Morning
Nov 2, 2012 09:11
received t-shirt for participation in competition))
Oct 11, 2012 18:50
Then, security.stackexchange.com/questions/11234/… also has different people giving different answers
Oct 11, 2012 18:45
Do you think security.stackexchange.com/questions/13570/… is better? It's for beginners too
Oct 11, 2012 18:44
If question will be asked in chat, it's not likely that someone else will be able to find answer. Nobody searches chat before asking question
Oct 11, 2012 18:38
So how should beginner ask this question if he doesn't know where to start? And he doesn't know any vulnerbailities of iOS application
