Has anyone used glob.sync in JS?
Jun 14, 2019 12:45
nothing major, I promise I wont bombard you every day. Just once in a great while I might pick your brain.
Jun 14, 2019 12:45
Oh that's fine. I'll hit you up on there going forward.
Jun 14, 2019 12:42
slack on wp org?
Jun 14, 2019 12:42
I just wanted to chat with a fellow wp dev
Jun 14, 2019 12:41
@TomJNowell do you have other messengers I can reach you at? I promise I wont pester you daily.
Jun 14, 2019 12:40
Tom, do you have other messengers I can reach you at? I promise I wont pester you daily.
Jun 14, 2019 12:11
If you run a wp db import on top of an existing database, does it drop/replace the tables?
Jun 14, 2019 12:11
@TomJNowell Question about CLI
May 9, 2019 17:11
@TomJNowell Weird, I had to add --user=<id>
May 9, 2019 17:07
@TomJNowell Any idea why I would get this error with WP-CLI when uninstalling plugins? Error: Authorized Access Required
May 8, 2019 16:40
instead of updating the published copy
May 8, 2019 16:40
Is there a way to force all changes made to a post to save as a revision?
May 7, 2019 19:57
Nevermind, found it: In WordPress 4.5+, domain mapping is a native feature.

May 7, 2019 19:56
At which version of WordPress did the MU Domain Mapping plugin become irrelevant?
May 7, 2019 12:59
Ugh, super annoying... Why does my console always output the contents of wp-config.php when I run WP-CLI commands?
May 2, 2019 17:03
@TomJNowell If you make a REST request from JS, are you able to get the IP Address of the user from that request?
Apr 30, 2019 16:28
AKA change the theme, and disable the plugins.
Apr 30, 2019 16:28
I see there's hookpoints in the runner file. How do you execute additional functionality to the WP-CLI hook points?
Apr 30, 2019 16:27
Thus, causing an error, preventing WP-CLI to continue.
Apr 30, 2019 16:27
So I think those parameters just prevent the CLI from scanning through the files, correct? WordPress till loads those if they're specified in the database, right?
Apr 30, 2019 15:35
but if I manually change those option values in the database myself, it works
Apr 30, 2019 15:35
@TomJNowell I tried it with adding --skip-plugins --skip-themes and it failed
Apr 30, 2019 15:13
You helped guide me though
Apr 30, 2019 15:13
mmmhm
Apr 30, 2019 15:13
ok
Apr 30, 2019 15:13
do you want to answer my question or should I ?
Apr 30, 2019 15:13
as always, appreciate the knowledge transfer.
Apr 30, 2019 15:12
got it. thanks for your analogies
Apr 30, 2019 15:11
so basically just don't specify --url
Apr 30, 2019 15:11
ok
Apr 30, 2019 15:11
hmm
Apr 30, 2019 15:10
Didn't know that was possible
Apr 30, 2019 15:09
awesome.
Apr 30, 2019 15:09
oh no way, you can do that?
Apr 30, 2019 15:09
So what would be the proper command to run on Multisite then?
Apr 30, 2019 15:09
Disabled all plugins and set default theme, and now it's running.
Apr 30, 2019 15:08
@TomJNowell You're right. Problem was related to PHP Error of some kind.
Apr 30, 2019 15:02
or huh
Apr 30, 2019 15:02
all tables with this site?
Apr 30, 2019 15:01
If you turn on --debug it automatically sets the URL anyways
Apr 30, 2019 14:17
Do you mean --url ?
Apr 30, 2019 14:12
3
Apr 30, 2019 14:10
maybe, but PhpStorm isn't showing any syntax errors
Apr 30, 2019 14:09
Well in the debugging, it ends right when it finds wp-config.php
Apr 30, 2019 14:09
I feel like there's something wrong with the configuration
Apr 30, 2019 14:08
but works on the other site
Apr 30, 2019 14:08
This command fails too
Apr 30, 2019 14:08
wp search-replace --url=domain.com https://domain.com https://domain.test --all-tables --recurse-objects --dry-run --allow-root --debug
