Even if all your equipment was in tact and you had everyone who knew how to operate it, it still may not be possible to recover. You can't just cold start an electricity grid, which is necessary for everything else to run. Without a working telecom system you can't coordinate well enough to make the interconnects happen.

We have a lot of coal, but modern coal mines are much deeper than older ones and can't be easily mined with pickaxes and minecarts.

It wouldn't be that hard to push us back to before the industrial revolution actually. Fossil fuels are much harder to mine than they were back in the day, if our machinery gets taken out it's unlikely we could easily get steam engines easily back up and running. I'd say pushing us back to the Dark ages wouldn't be too difficult.

This entire comment is falling for selection bias: if the defender indicates they don't want to fight and then no fight happens then no video gets uploaded to youtube. Throwing a punch 100% guarantees a fight will happen.

The condenser needs to be outside, and the evaporator needs to be inside. I suppose you could run the pipes and wires through an open window, but I think you can see why that's not a good idea. The pipes connecting the two parts are quite literally what moves the heat from inside your house to outside your house, so they need to go through a wall somewhere.

Double check your answer, you've mixed units in your pressure equation. Joules where you need Newtons. To get the answer you want you need to figure out the cross section of the bullet, you can't figure it out just from kinetic energy alone.

@Slarty not quite, on a sphere if you walk off one point you appear on the opposite point, whereas I take this explanation to be you re-enter as the point you left from.
