It seems there is no detection mechanism in place thats why he can do it without any issue. That has me wondering why not more people do it?

I dont experience that at all. Every FPS game I played was smooth af as long as I hit the 60 FPS/HZ. There was nothing "choppy" at all. I have my fair share of experience with crap PCs and good gaming PC. I know what low FPS and high FPS feels like and I can certainly say, that none of the things you state ever occurred to me. And you do realize that you could juast as well be very unlucky if your game get "choppy" when you go from 144 Hz to 60 Hz, even if the game is pushing the same frame rate out since the FPS might just not be synced with the screen?

@JMac well, I am running two 144hz G-Sync screens and I couldn't tell any difference to my previous monitors, no matter the game. Even if a game is locked to 60 FPS like Sekiro, the difference is that marginal that most people don't see it. As long as it runs at 60 you are going to see everything smooth. The average human sees around 45 FPS.

dont worry for anything above 60 hz/fps. you are not going to see any difference with a probability of ~99.5%

"Joint ownership" is truly uncommon in many parts of the world I'd assume. Speaking from my german experiences, we were allowed to bring our own laptops to school and the only thing we had to do after some law has been passed, was to sign into the WIFI via a captive portal. Even if they would have required me to install anything, I would have probably uninstalled right after that

You should not only go through the accounts together, but maybe even set up new ones together. This way she has a clean start and can keep everything she likes. While you are doing this together you an explain the basics to her. There is no need for her to care about future employees right now even less, if you two work through this together. And once you have set up the clean accounts, she can remove the old ones. BTW it is "few" and not "view"

I take public transportation to work every day. If I start from home, I'm mostly on point as far as that is possible (sometimes 5 minutes late/early). Yet if I start from my GF, there is a train which should arrive on point, but from my experience it has at least 5 minutes delay if not more. Luckily I have flex-time and therefore its not so bad to arrive late (I cut down my breaks so that I can get my train back home easily). @AdamSmith it's actually the employee. And if that happens on a regular basis, they have to take a earlier train/bus (but should be allowed flex-time then)

Never resign before you got the next step safe as long as you don't want to be unemployed. Give them 2-3 more days and after that, just send a follow up email to make sure your last one didn't got lost.

In my eyes, its the companies fault if they don't stop adding money to the card. Its pretty much the same as the company dropped 7 dollars each day on his way and he picked it up. This could be seen as an accident, yet they were giving him the money voluntary
