Yes, LEGO! I don't use it anymore and my kids have never been interested in LEGO. So I'm rehoming my collection. It's not huge, but I have a fair amount. I want to see if Major Stackings shows up first, though. He's my favorite LEGO conniseur. (sp?)
@SQB - Hopefully your kids will be great teens. Both mine were really awesome when they were teens. Conversely, I was an awful, terrible teen. Ugh, lol! My kids are doing well. Both are working and are stable and great fun. I'm lucky.
@Mithical: For the wretched of the earth, there is a flame that never dies - even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise :) So much love for Les Mis. I saw it in New York when it was still running on Broadway.
@SQB To be honest it's been a tough year (which, I know, a lot of people have had a hard time over the last year) but things are better now - more of an even keel. What are you up to?
@AncientSwordRage - HI! :) It's been a while. I thought I would stop in for a chat (meaning I'm doing everything I can to avoid housework). I'm doing well. How are you?
@Mithrandir24601 - 24601! Do you like Les Mis? It's one of my most favorite novels. I also like the musical. I also use 24601 for a variety of things online. My alternate online handle is from Les Mis. Not to go on and on . . .
Kale is great in salads, especially with a sweeter balsamic vinegar dressing and lots of separate goodies (Parmesian, harvatie (sp?) cheese, cucumber, croutons, etc).
@Donald.McLean - Donald, what's your opinion on this corner shelf? It's Ethan Allen, 100% hardwood (maple), and is listed for $100. I'm asking you because I know you value good quality furniture and I need more shelves and cabinets to store my stuff! :)
@Donald.McLean - Bye bye, Miss American Pie; took my chevy to the levy, but the levy was dry . . . My first name was very popular in the 70s (no it's not "Jennifer").
Also, I'd like to point out (despite the link to the removal process) that my post was about inactive moderators resigning, not about some sort of coup from the users at large.
@TheLethalCarrot - I've found in growing vegetable patches that it seems like every year there is one vegetable that either doesn't grow at all or grows just a bit, or one that explodes and takes over the whole garden.
