@GayotFow ... your good self referred in your post that "you do NOT get the full 6 months leave-to-enter" ... what does this means?
Isn't so that a UK Standard Visitor Visa (i.e. multiple entry) would allow me to visit any number of times within the allocated validity of the Visa.
