You had advised to run the binary normally. I got an error: can't execute: Permission denied. With chmod, I changed the permissions to u+x and then to 777, but still no luck. The file is in /storage/emulated/0/Download/sdcard/.

Then what would be the steps to bind mount a single directory from sd card? I believe I won't be using /dev in that case, right?

If I unmount SD card in that way, I think I won't be able to access other files there through the file browser. Is that true? If yes, then it doesn't make sense losing access to all files for the sake of WhatsApp.

My phone says that /dev is a mountpoint, and /mnt/runtime/write/emulated/0/WhatsApp is not, which is expected. Are you advising to unmount /dev?

@IrfanLatif Unmount means I have to run the command umount on /mnt/runtime/write/emulated/0/WhatsApp, or should I unmount the SD card?

Now when I run it, it throws an error: Device or resource busy. Is there any easy way of killing all processes other than system processes, rather than list all processes and choose from there?

I edited the command for mounting whatsapp, and currently it is this:mount -t exfat -o nosuid,nodev,noexec,noatime,context=u:object_r:rootfs:s0,uid=0,gid=9997,fmask=0117,dmask=0006 /dev/block/vold/public:179,65 /mnt/runtime/write/emulated/0/WhatsApp

@user440774 Here is a video. It tells you to download a terminal emulator app, grant it superuser request, and then run the command "pm remove-user 999" without quotes. Does that work?

@samjoe True, I didn't visit the site for a long time. After the Annual exams were over, we went on a tour to East Arunachal. After returning, I became completely occupied with completing my syllabi in different subjects, because this time it's the boards. I also started studying something out of syllabus, so as to pacify my curiosity. I had become almost oblivious to everything. Today, after a while, I decided to revisit old sites once again.

@samjoe how're you? Ready for JEE this year?

@Blue school has decided to start science exhibition this year. Do you have some good idea? We want something either on optics, or electronics. I had a good circuit for a small radio, but can't find all the components online. Can you recommend something else? It would very helpful if the circuit design and component specifications are also available.
