Seems like a classic case of XY problem. You should not question the use of the curse word in your title slide. Instead, you should question if you should bring up this topic in your talk at all, if you are in a position to judge more senior's publications, and if this is the right place to get feedback on this topic for probably the first time in your life.

Difficult to answer. Not sure what the university want to achieve. Never heart of a similar ask to get the university removed while you were obviously working there. Not sure if there is more about your action.

Getting access to the LoR is a severe breach of confidentially. Work on you to resist the urge to not know what others say about you! This behavior will backfire.

@user76284 I agree, gender, race, religion should not affect the life of mathematicians. Maths does not know these concepts. Nevertheless, you see fewer female and fewer black maths faculty member compared to their share in the overall population.

In most cases my professor used "it is obvious", it objectively was obvious. We just struggled to write down all the definitions.

You are really offering zero raise? This means an actual reduction due to inflation. Or is this some other process, that automatically adjusts wages company-wide?

Best answer so far. Writing an additional email will help HR to notice that someone wants to quit. The stuff with the letter for edge cases which go to court anyway. In 99.9% of resignations this will do the trick.

Not answering your question, but still: Look for a job in your region. There is a (smaller) market and not everybody want to move out of the fancy towns, so companies have less choices. Nevertheless, there are good companies with great opportunities. You have to search and maybe ask companies. Then you can stay where you live now, you don't need to increase your income by 15k and you have no pressure to find something quickly.

Have you though about taking the risk? If the laptop gets destroyed or stolen, you just pay the ~2k pound? BTW, you can insure your risk, you don't need to own it. (car insurance is primary for other guy in an accident)
