Putting you on gardening leave means that your employer is loosing out on 3 months of your workforce, so it is an inherently bad deal for them. It is mostly done if they fear bad things you could do while being at work. What do you have to offer in terms of a negotiation?

It's also about not burning bridges, as you never know if you might need their support for whatever later.

What benefits do you expect from deleting them? Does anyone gain anything by doing so?
