Does anyone know if there is a good way to express exponentiation if the base is not e? I mean, when the base is e, we can write $\exp(-------------)$ and everybody understands that, regardless of how long the power expression is. What to do if the base is 2?

What do you recommend for a senior cat? I don't want to use anything harsh that may harm her (ie. secondary side effects).

Yup, your refreshment training was a break but I talk about the Turkish system. They conscript you for 5.5 months and make you do 12 rounds of shooting :)
In Turkish military service, my friends fired their rifles for 12 times in total :) That was all the shooting training. No specialty training whatsoevere
