So, a database table grows and no effort on your end ever makes it shrink. Do I have that right? If so, the Question needs rewiring with those details or it will be closed. This site is not set up as a forum or and is not optimized for interviewing.
Jun 26, 2024 15:38
Does this occur only in Docker environments?
Jun 26, 2024 15:38
You will have to provide more information about where this data is stored. Container storage tends only to grow because of how Docker works.

I can't tell what you are really asking. But if you are asking why composer update took these sites to two different versions, you have to type composer why-not drupal/core 10.2.2 to get any information about it.

May 13, 2023 20:58
Stack Exchange isn’t optimized as a support forum which is why this has been so frustrating. I still think there isn’t enough information in your question to distinguish it from drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/313090/…. You may do better by asking in the Drupal Slack #support channel on Monday.
May 13, 2023 20:58
I asked for “a minimal composer.json that reproduces the problem”. That one doesn’t reproduce the problem. We probably also need the one for the global Drush install.
May 13, 2023 19:55
I fixed the file by removing the invalid lines, executed composer install then vendor/bin/drush, and there are no errors. This is very much likely to be an incompatibility with the global drush install.
May 13, 2023 19:54
$ composer install "./composer.json" does not contain valid JSON Parse error on line 3: ...document root", <removed> "repos ---------------------^ Expected: 'STRING' - It appears you have an extra trailing comma
May 13, 2023 19:54
Please fix your file! It is invalid!
May 13, 2023 19:54
The composer.json file is still invalid.
May 13, 2023 19:54
This question does not seem any different from drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/313090/…. There is likely an incompatible global version of drush installed and drush is being called globally. But there is just not enough information given. I understand @MarkDQ disagrees on this point.
May 13, 2023 19:54
I can't vote for that. The composer.json does not contain valid JSON.
May 13, 2023 19:54
@MarkDQ Regarding the closure: that is how this site works. Discussions are supposed to be very minimal. Policy questions can be asked in drupal.meta.stackexchange.com. Also, FWIW I have seen the symptom described in the question in cases where someone managed to install two copies of some dependencies, but at a glance I don't see a "red flag" in that composer.json.
May 13, 2023 19:54
A minimal composer.json that reproduces the problem would enhance this question.

At this stage you will have to attach a PHP debugger to that line to figure out why this occurs.
Apr 4, 2023 17:09
Let us start with the stack trace (also called the "backtrace" in PHP) please. drupal.org/docs/develop/development-tools/…
Apr 4, 2023 17:07
You will have to use a debugger then. I don't think we can answer the question without more information.

The error says that some module or theme on the site is referencing 'site.path', which is not an existing container parameter. I think the parameter is called '@site.path': drupal.org/node/3080612

I see some data and an allegation that a custom function, or, (very less likely), Json::decode, damages it, or mangles it in some way and yet there is no evidence shown of what occurs.
Feb 14, 2023 13:05
Alright. What is your question? You mentioned something about “that last bit of data” but the Question does not include before or after, that is, encoded or decoded, data samples. As written, still this is unanswerable.
Feb 14, 2023 13:05
There is no jsonDecode function in the file you showed.
Feb 14, 2023 13:05
How are you calling a class static function as if it were a global function?
Feb 14, 2023 13:05
There is no jsonDecode function in the file you showed.
Feb 14, 2023 13:05
The Question doesn’t mention the serialization module. It neither shows an example of data returned nor identifies the mysterious jsonDecode module. As that function is the locus of the Question it is currently unanswerable.
Feb 14, 2023 13:05
One of @Kevin's questions is: What is jsonDecode? It is not a function in PHP, nor is it a function in Drupal Core.

Dec 16, 2022 20:55
Composer's autoloader is not intended to work with multiple vendor directories.
Dec 16, 2022 20:55
I recommend using the composer merge plugin to install the custom module's dependencies: github.com/wikimedia/composer-merge-plugin
Dec 16, 2022 20:47
Is that module in the composer.json you posted? This has become quite an interview.
Dec 16, 2022 20:44
That could mean a lot of things. google/apiclient is not in the composer.json you posted on the question so you must have installed it in an unconventional way.
Dec 16, 2022 19:23
drupal/core-recommended 9.5.0 requires psr/log (~1.1.4). It should not be possible to install a higher version on the system. How did you do that?
Dec 16, 2022 19:20
The diagnosis is that for some reason you have psr/log version 3 installed.
Dec 16, 2022 19:19
So as I said it appears that there may be two copies of a class.
Dec 16, 2022 19:19
drupal/core 9.5.0 requires psr/log (^1.1)
Dec 16, 2022 19:18
I would think that drupal/core-recommended should constrain the psr/log version. Let me see...
Dec 16, 2022 19:17
Get the output of composer show psr/log
Dec 16, 2022 19:15
Also: you may have found a bug.
Dec 16, 2022 19:15
What is the version of PHP on the command line? Something suggests that the version is too old to understand an interface expansion.
Dec 16, 2022 18:02
It’s time for you to look at each of those classes to figure out why they are incongruent and to make sure there are not duplicates of any. Providing the entire composer.json file may help you get an answer but at this stage more information is needed.
Dec 16, 2022 18:02
There is a comment on this other, current question which may be helpful: drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/314074/…
Dec 16, 2022 18:02
Absent any technical information at all about what you did with php code sniffer it is not possible to comment on that matter. The error you are reporting in the question is the kind of thing that could happen if there is an opcache problem or in some cases, two installs of Drupal, which has happened if the composer/installers plugin is disabled. What is the specific PHP version? What are the actual versions of the drupal-core* projects?
Dec 16, 2022 18:02
Show us the plugins section of composer.json.

HTTP redirects are implemented with an HTTP code like 302 and a “location” header. What is the location header in these redirects?
Aug 28, 2022 15:16
Is the location header in the HTTP response always the same? What is the HTTP code in the responses?
Aug 28, 2022 15:16
Is the URL the same for every redirect or subtly different?
Aug 28, 2022 15:16
In terms if solving the root problem, what are all these redirects? Have you examined the web browser developer tools network tab?
