@Shashi, I see, you have the Oracle, and you need the OpenJDK instead, please see docs.datastax.com/en/jdk-install/doc/jdk-install/…, and looks like you missing libopenjfx-java as well (sudo apt install libopenjfx-java).

To install use:
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/javac javac /usr/lib/jvm/YourNewJDKFolder/bin/javac 1
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/java java /usr/lib/jvm/YourNewJDKFolder/bin/java 1

@Shashi, please download the desired java version from here: oracle.com , install the binary (copy the new output folder jdk... to desired location (/usr/lib/jvm/)) , update java and javac using (sudo update-alternatives --config), set JAVA_HOME= to the new jdk folder
