Currently, after some investigation I'm going to test sssd. But this is what I try right now
Nov 9, 2015 12:58
pam_ldap is on the client side
Nov 9, 2015 12:57
with each and every hashing algorithm
Nov 9, 2015 12:57
With this I can also verify that the password is valid
Nov 9, 2015 12:57
I use Apache Directory Studio to modify LDAP attributes
Nov 9, 2015 12:50
@473183469 That's it (true).
Nov 9, 2015 12:50
@473183469 No. The prefix is {ssha256}, but this is not the problem. PAM is the problem.
Nov 9, 2015 12:50
@473183469 I just store the password with a different hashing algorithm "by hand" using an OpenLDAP configuration UI.

Q: PXE boot Linux - what goes where?

JustJeffI have an IA64 machine that can boot via PXE, and want to boot a live Fedora 17. I do not want to install it, I just want to run as though booting the live CD. For a server I have (read: am stuck with) a windows XP SP 3 host with a DHCP and TFTP server on it. Googling has turned up too much in...

Q: PXE Boot PCLinuxOS ISO

DBNotCooperI'm in the process of trying to convert some computers at my local school to be diskless browser stations. We've identified PCLinuxOS as the OS we'd like to use due to it's easy interface for creating custom ISO images (we need WINE and some custom apps installed also, as well as FireFox). I've...

Dupe
Jan 14, 2012 20:43
That's bad. And I don't know the answer, too. Otherwise there wouldn't be the need to post it.
Jan 14, 2012 20:39
It is even double-tagged for more reputation gaining.

Q: How to configure amavisd-new for only scanning on particular senders/servers?

mailqI'd like to know how to configure amavisd-new to only scan for Spam on particular clients (IPs, CIDRs or hostnames) or alternatively sender's email domain. I know that it is possible to do it on a recipient's mail address but not on how to do it for the sender's mail address. It is even possible...

Probably.

@LucasKauffman Still writing. Just a moment....

But I can create a (good) question for everybody to gain rep
Jan 14, 2012 20:21
me too. There are too few questions to get reputation on
Jan 14, 2012 20:18
strange. I meant "amavis" = "amavisd-new"

Q: In postfix how do you read (or get) virtual users email?

user973917This might seem like a dumb question, but... How do you read the mail for virtual users in postfix that have been created by virtual_mailbox_domain? I've created a user named vuser that handles all virtual mailbox domain mail; I've even tested that my configuration works by sending a test email ...

Q: Force Mail server to look outside the local host

LoneWolfPRI have full control over a virtual dedicated server. The problem is the mail server resides elsewhere. I have a problem that when sending mail via php's mail function if the address shares the same domain name as the webserver it looks at the localhost, doesn't find the address, and rejects it. H...

Q: postfix: force server to send mail outside of localhost

LoneWolfPRI have a php file that sends mail using the mail() function. The problem is one of the forms sends to a domain that is registerred on my server while having the mail handled on a different server. Postfix looks locally only. When it doesn't find the email address is rejects the message. How can I...

This is too localized:

Na ja, danke fürs erste. Muss jetzt mal wieder gehen.
Jan 14, 2012 23:22
Das kann ja jeder für sich entscheiden. Es ist ja niemand gezwungen sie einzusetzen.
Jan 14, 2012 23:11
Jan 14, 2012 22:51
Und ich muss das Absender-bezogen machen
Jan 14, 2012 22:50
bypass_spam_checks_maps beziehen sich auf den Empfänger, nicht auf den Absender
Jan 14, 2012 22:50
Warum nicht in Deutsch, stimmt
Jan 14, 2012 22:49
Hi. So you know the answer to my question?
