@AC In our own history Introducing birth control has resulted in a below replacement level population. Now worldwide we had a high population to begin with And we were experiencing a population boom due to lowering of the infant mortality rate. Because of this we won't see the effects of population decline for a while but our population is declining I don't see why that would be different in the middle ages.
Sep 28, 2023 00:38
@NuclearHoagie "population is at an all-time high despite the fact that the global birth rate is at an all-time low. " Such a state would only be sustainable temporarily. The roote has been around for a while so I cannot depend on past population growth.
Sep 28, 2023 00:38
@AlexP From when are you getting your population numbers For the middle ages? From what you're describing it sounds more like Is the middle ages after the black death. And that's not what I was thinking of when I Put the population of the middle ages. In either case it doesn't actually matter if the population is higher low only that doesn't drap significantly by the introduction of birth control.
Sep 28, 2023 00:38
@AlexP 1. Is hardly a reliable method of birth control. Better nothing sure, But can't compare to what this scenario has.

Men might find them sexy sense Women will probably take on the role of providers for the men.
Aug 9, 2023 01:09
@TheDemonLord your right, I think we can make some guess though. The role of men in society seems limited to 1. Sex 2. 2. A special, powerful, but suicidal unit in war. From that I think we can deduce a few things. 1. Given the low population of males Society would need Mails with high sex drive. So men who easily show Signs of sexual Arousal would make sense. And since they still have a place in war men who showed aggression, Physical prowess And natural protective instincts would also be desirable. Less so would be provision. So they are unlikely to find Fancy cars sexy.
Aug 9, 2023 01:09
@TheDemonLord not true at all the sexy body shape is constant across cultures and history. Any thing that exaggerates that shape will always be sexy at least to humans

Feb 16, 2023 11:57
@AlexP actually yes it was believed that Aboriginal were part ape. They even put one in a zoo.

Aug 19, 2022 11:25
You're a literally Asking how magical powers ( Mind control telekinesis) can evolve?

May 8, 2022 19:12
No more then regular humans
May 8, 2022 19:12
Yes they are slightly more competitive but other than that no.
May 8, 2022 19:12
The eat the same food but orks require more protein and calories.

Mar 28, 2022 20:25
@VogonPoet I think you're missing the point if you have control over the guns And you Have control over energy, Gaining control over communication Really isn't that difficult. Especially if you don't have to worry about local and federal governments.
Mar 28, 2022 20:23
@bry
Mar 24, 2022 01:56
Why not both @VogonPoet afterall if there is No Military or state police force that can stop you Why would you stop just at energy control if you can take control of information as well all the better.
Mar 24, 2022 01:18
And the state guard was overwhelmed or joined various factions
Mar 24, 2022 01:14
But one with a couple dozen factions rather then just 2
Mar 24, 2022 01:13
@VogonPoet perhaps if the collapse created some kind of civil war
Mar 24, 2022 01:11
@VogonPoet
Mar 24, 2022 01:11
And your forget the state governments
Mar 24, 2022 01:09
@VogonPoet the federal government collapse dosnt mean that you have roaming bands of raiders or invaders.
Mar 23, 2022 06:37
@VogonPoet Remember the collapse of democracy does not necessarily mean the rise of feudalism. There are a lot of other options than just those 2. Even if scenario one led to the collapse of democracy it would not necessarily necessarily lead to arise Of feudalism.
Mar 23, 2022 06:34
@VogonPoet I agree Scenario 2 would make more sense If you had your equivalent to vikings or German raiders, You'd have to explain why the federal government couldn't handle them though. Then come up for your reason for why Your local militia/ mercenaries Can do what the us military can not.
Mar 23, 2022 06:30
@VogonPoet
Mar 23, 2022 06:25
I feel like this questioner questioner doesn't quite understand all that feudalism is. I think he just thinks autocratic or Totalitarian When he thinks a feudalism. As the question stands I don't see how either of these answers could lead to feudalism at least not not unless they combined with other things.

@collisteru You're comparing West in In the 20st century to The Islamic world pre industrial revolution. How do you know their views will not change in your timeline.

Jun 20, 2019 20:57
@John yes they have help from a few villages that they helped earlier
Jun 20, 2019 20:57
@Vylix edit it, they got six month

Nov 15, 2017 03:16
@swollen I thought about the pain I thought about inventing a system where you can lower how much pain you feel in game but this also lowers amount of pleasure you feel in game . This would encourage that player to play in modes where They feel pain so they can in turn feel pleasure. Also remember just like in the real world they only feel pain if they take damage .
Nov 15, 2017 03:16
@akaioi Not necessarily for Character death is not automatically mean Player your death Depends how long you've been in game. Think of it like playing Russian roulette. 1st Few times you die the chances of you Dieing in the real world are very Unlikely so unlikely as To be impossible but the odds steadily increase more time you spend in there and tell it becomes very likely at a certain point so really depends how long you been in the game .

Jul 16, 2017 04:09
Happy pear you usually get killed from driving a car not from learning to drive a car and your instructure doesn't purposely put you in circumstances where you might crash.
Jul 16, 2017 04:09
I'm excluding stillborn and children who died before the age of 12
Jul 16, 2017 04:09
I would say around 3 to 5 kids not counting any that died before be old enough to enter school.

Jul 11, 2017 21:37
@Ellesedil couldn't you say that about all magic including "the force"?
Jul 11, 2017 21:37
@Werrf so you're saying it's not so much the role of magic in the story but part technology plays in the story?
Jul 11, 2017 21:37
@Ross so your saying that it is not so much that they have magical element but how those element fit into the plot and how both tell story's that decided them?

May 20, 2017 21:20
They are fresh Corpses
May 20, 2017 21:20
@apaul34208 yes it dose thanks
May 20, 2017 21:20
I edited it if you read it the human Army has half as much as the Zombie Army
May 20, 2017 21:20
That's a good point and his name did not consider unfortunately doesn't really answer the question I have which is dealing with a battle situation.

Mar 21, 2017 17:26
@ThunderGruppy no one only effective one thing at a time. Like turning people to Stone as a group of five guys attacked you you couldn't cast a single spell to turn on all five of them to Stone have to cast the turning people into stone spell 5 times one for each
Mar 21, 2017 17:26
@Scott no wizard can cast as many spells as possible. As long as they do one at a time. But to give a new order they have to cast the spell again.
Mar 21, 2017 17:26
Binoculars can increase the range of spells as it increases your sight range
Mar 21, 2017 17:26
It is its own language

Jan 13, 2017 22:31
I answered the question what is a religion in earlier post
Jan 13, 2017 16:53
@Erik a belief is something you expect to be true without irrefutable evidence. Are suggesting that atheists don't really believe there own arguments?
Jan 13, 2017 16:51
@Erik clearly you have not read any works writing by atheists. There view point is hardly one of being not sure.
Jan 13, 2017 16:44
@Erik first my religions the affiliation is irrelevant only my argument has Merit.
Jan 12, 2017 21:56
I'm not say that lack of religion is a religion only that atheism is not a lack of religion if you read my comment I've already explained this. What you described as the lack of religion is commonly referred to as agnosticism or literally without knowledge or proof. As opposed to atheism which in there mind have knowledge.
Jan 12, 2017 19:46
@Craig what you are describing is agnosticism literally lack of knowledge or proof. atheism is something else completely different it is not disbelief as you describe as the disbelief implies uncertainty there are very few atheists that would describe themselves as uncertain
