I think Mickens has a video from a few years ago that makes the case that machine learning in general is weird and unpredictable, therefore should not be automatically trusted

What if ads is a bubble like cryptocurrency, where companies feel obligated to buy ad slots they don't need, just because other companies are doing it?
Perhaps it's just AI companies trying to protect themselves from lawsuits, but when I hear about officers making false arrests based on AI, I usually also hear that the AI company's official guidance was not followed
@nobody Not informed, but 1) How old was the phone? Old phones don't get security updates. 2) My understanding is that Samsung updates trail Android updates by a few weeks or a few months, depending on how urgent the update is.
