How 'about blocklist and alrightlist? Almost homophonic :D

Also, it would be nice if when you click on a submitted entry to edit it, you got a message saying "no you can't" and why, rather than just the no-entry mouse pointer...
Dec 1, 2015 09:34
@KevinMontrose Probably need to rename that button to just 'edit', not the first person to be tripped up by the "I want to edit, but retract sounds bad".
Nov 23, 2015 09:48
@RoyT., same problem for me. I guess you should ask a question/bug on the main site.

Looking at the C# extension methods "Where to define extension methods". A big question for me is IN WHICH NAMESPACE? I've never found a definitive answer (though there are some interesting ones here: stackoverflow.com/q/2520446). But my question is: is there are place for commenting on an example like this to say what I've just said here?

@Sklivvz, sorry 'bout that. It was therapeutic letting off steam. My parents used to say "ask a silly question, get a silly answer", and those types of question are exactly that, to my mind... So I guess I should downvote the question.

I guess it depends whether you're talking about his mother...

Aug 6, 2014 11:39
He suggested 1.3.3.7 would be a good number for the next version :)
Aug 6, 2014 11:39
@Caleb. Nice, I just got a mail from the Moz reviewer worrying about where 1.3.3.3 had gone :)
Aug 6, 2014 07:07
@Caleb, gngn, me too. Don't understand.
Aug 6, 2014 07:03
@Caleb, and now it's not working on SO? I guess they could be rolling out changes under our feet
Aug 6, 2014 07:02
oh no, scratch that, it does. I'm getting my versions mixed up!
Aug 6, 2014 07:01
I think
Aug 6, 2014 07:01
I just tried it. It works, but it doesn't have the same for of site selector...
Aug 6, 2014 06:57
@Caleb, guess I ought to try the script version - or did you already?
Aug 6, 2014 06:30
@Caleb, weird, for me it is ONLY working on SO today, not any of the other SE sites I tried...
Aug 5, 2014 12:21
@Caleb, I've got some flakey stuff in the windows FF too (the New Tab page doesn't like the fact that i've got non-default col/rows
Aug 5, 2014 07:26
@Caleb, ok, let me know when/what you want me to do something
Aug 5, 2014 07:03
@Caleb, ok, good point. So I can kill the 1.3.3.3 request at MozDev?
Aug 5, 2014 07:02
I guess I did already release it to chrome, but not long ago.
Aug 5, 2014 07:02
@Caleb, is it really worth incrementing the version?
Aug 5, 2014 07:01
You're linux too I believe, though that shouldn't make any difference
Aug 5, 2014 07:00
and that you haven't got a conflicting gm script (though generally that gives you two auto links instead of none)
Aug 5, 2014 07:00
@Caleb, have you checked that it is really there in the add-ons tab?
Aug 5, 2014 06:59
@Caleb: conclusion: if I pull that branch, I can build it, and it generates 1.3.3.4 which works for me in FFx31
Aug 5, 2014 06:59
Oh no, forget that. I tried to be too clever (uninstall 1.3.3.3/install 1.3.3.4 with only one restart)
Aug 5, 2014 06:57
weird
Aug 5, 2014 06:56
oops, but don't see the auto link
Aug 5, 2014 06:56
@Caleb, builds ok for me
Aug 5, 2014 06:49
@Caleb, have you got something I can pull to test?
Aug 5, 2014 06:48
I had similar problems, deleting build repo and retrying with Release1.3.3 seemed to get it working again
Aug 5, 2014 06:43
The build before that worked fix ok for my V31
Aug 5, 2014 06:04
@Caleb, thanks.
Aug 5, 2014 06:02
from Undo?
Aug 5, 2014 06:02
@Caleb, in all honesty, not sure where the feedback is likely to come from :)
Aug 5, 2014 05:52
Oh well, I've disabled the Mozilla update for the moment, let me know...
Aug 5, 2014 05:50
@Caleb, whoops, did I jump the gun? I see that you have another hotfix from yesterday?
Aug 5, 2014 05:48
I've rebuilt and re-posted to Chrome Webstore, and MozDevHub. Review on Mozilla may take some time, I guess.
Aug 5, 2014 05:24
@Caleb, @OliverSalzburg. I'm back. Not yet caught up with everything that's happened in between.
Jul 3, 2014 15:01
@Caleb, @OliverSalzburg. GOOD news: *"First of all, sorry for the extremely long time it took to review version 1.3.3.1.
I'm (apparently) the only reviewer that has a StackOverflow account and has >=50 reputation on (at least) one of the SO sites. I didn't notice your add-on until a couple of days ago, so I tested/reviewed the functionality of your add-on just now (Here's a screenshot! http://puu.sh/9QNos.png ) . This version has been approved for the public. Feel free to submit updates, since any future updates will be reviewed MUCH faster (i.e. a matter of days, not months!) Thank you!"*
Jun 27, 2014 11:30
@OliverSalzburg Long-awaited, possibly deserved :)
Jun 27, 2014 05:01
@OliverSalzburg, @Caleb. FYI I'll be away from the keyboard for most of July. Feel free to merge your own pull requests if you need to.
Jun 16, 2014 04:56
@OliverSalzburg, github.com/Benjol/SE-AutoReviewComments/pull/54 looks good to me.

OK, I've done a bit of merging, a bit of testing. Hope that'll keep you going. Thanks for your input. A lot. I don't know what you think (@Caleb too), but if we can get multi-target working and merged in too, then I think we're good to push out a new version (with the auto-update hacks removed?), though possibly we'll want to wait to make sure Mozilla don't throw anything big at us. Definitely going to need your help Caleb for the release process :(
Jun 12, 2014 06:49
Ho hum, looks like I dreamed that it worked like that previously :(
Jun 12, 2014 06:40
Weird, I coded it for this stackapps.com/a/3176, but no idea how it fixes the bug :(
Jun 12, 2014 06:34
Or did that never work? Now I'm confused: in WriteComments there's this: .replace(/\$/g, "$$$"). No idea what that's supposed to do. (Goes to find blame hammer)
Jun 12, 2014 06:20
That is, they get selected, but the [Q] or [A] doesn't get removed from the displayed title. Weird. Investigating now.
