Q: how to create a silent propeller aircraft for covert operations and strikes?

mico villenaAssuming absence of electronic detection measures(Radar) and the only way to detect anyone from approaching is through specialized listening devices that detects sounds in the air and visual contact. I need to approach the target in a dark cloudy day or night, so visual contact will be very dim...

@a4android Fishing and ultra heavy/massive load was the only reason why there are maritime ships still in existence, thanks to it the primary food source of almost everyone is sea fish which are pretty abundant
Jul 20, 2017 13:42
There really was no need to be stuck with maritime navy except coast guard. Since the enemy doesnt even have one as well. It also stems from the military culture that has been for thousands of years that has been using the same method of aerial travelling of floating ships.
Jul 20, 2017 13:38
There was no need to rely on a maritime duty, theres still coast guard though. Since aerial shipping is cheap and faster by miles than maritime trading unless you really want to save up or the load is way too heavy, by then a maritime ship will be escorted by aerial frigates/destroyers and floating tugs to help/support it
Jul 20, 2017 13:34
@a4android it was about to closed down so i deleted the question. The idea was that no one attempted to put weapons on planes since destroyers/frigates has taken up the duty of supporting the soldiers in the front line with their fast response as it is flying and staying power as a ship. Resulting to no one even ever dared think of putting planes in a ship.

This question is actually a followup of my question few years back

Dec 8, 2016 16:15
ok whats the answer a @DaaaahWhoosh
Dec 8, 2016 15:22
i'm really a good dictator or a tyrant? thats the right word right?
Dec 8, 2016 15:21
which i'll reward them with gold as heavy as the merchant in question, dead or alive
Dec 8, 2016 15:20
their lives are at stake on trading, if they are not caught by the police force they'll be eaten by the wild creatures, played by the fae folk or most likely have their heads in the bounty board for hunters and adventurers alike
Dec 8, 2016 15:18
the territory is a massive land bridge connecting a very large peninsula and a continent the size of asia
Dec 8, 2016 15:18
of course if they travel the treacherous mountain trails and probably through water ways across the territory
Dec 8, 2016 15:15
"The 'only' route on the way to the kingdom is through the a long stretch of mountain pass that branches along the way towards other settlements inside the territory."
Dec 8, 2016 15:14
yes that is the case since theres only 2 points of entry... 1 south 1 north the territory is effectively in between the two most powerful nations in the continent
Dec 8, 2016 15:10
Thats alot of ultra rare goods right there waiting to be sold to awaiting buyers in the capital...
Dec 8, 2016 15:08
apart from no tariffs, very fast transport of goods with the help of horse powered rail network... and no merchant is allowed inside the territory anyway, they'll go "missing" sin the territory is this

"because of its treacherous environment both flora, fauna and mystical alike(ultra rare, ultra strong wild animals/creatures like that of a dragons, wyverns, manticores, even some dinosaurs both herbivore and carnivorous type and many more including flesh eating plants, mischievous fairies other creatures that is hazardous or almost to humans) made this territory a harsh land to live in desp
Dec 8, 2016 15:05
and of course what would be the benefits of such system?
Dec 8, 2016 15:05
other than black markets galore what would be the other troublesome things that i will be dealing with? apart from bigger taxes that the crown will surely put on my shoulders
Dec 8, 2016 15:04
damn...
Dec 8, 2016 15:02
now... how would that affect the economy kingdom wide and territory wide?

i assume that i have very tight control of trade going in and out of my territory
Dec 8, 2016 15:02
Ok so i am now a baron in my territory and established a trade guild.

I forbade merchants from doing business in my territory except through my trade guild.

my trade guild provide/sell goods through out my territory instead of the merchants. While merchants can buy goods from my trade guild
Dec 8, 2016 14:59
anyone available? i have question regarding medieval economics
May 7, 2016 17:29
damn it
May 7, 2016 17:29
i mean full snow on lowlands
May 7, 2016 17:27
sledding i mean
May 7, 2016 17:26
yep, thats how logisitics will work overland after the sea ssault
May 7, 2016 17:25
not a russian one thats for sure, bout the ones happening in italy
May 7, 2016 17:25
but signalling through flare is how to communicate
May 7, 2016 17:24
yes
May 7, 2016 17:24
assuming theres no communication magic
May 7, 2016 17:23
but you cant commit to such assault since you'll be surrounded by the enemy
May 7, 2016 17:23
for instant effects
May 7, 2016 17:23
but then since you have superior air force you could just simply raze the capital
May 7, 2016 17:22
or how could it possibly work
May 7, 2016 17:22
psychological warfare goes to mind but i dont have any idea to implement it
May 7, 2016 17:21
assuming that my offensive can only last before winter goes into full swing, (3 months) how will i be able to defeat that nation
May 7, 2016 17:20
and i'm fighting a war against a nation who could shrug off the loss of 100,000 soldiers per battle
May 7, 2016 17:19
so the invading army has vastly superior air cavalry and light but veteran land armies
May 7, 2016 17:19
and you have airborne cavalry(dragons, gryphon, wyvern) in the scene with magic
May 7, 2016 17:18
lets say medieval warfare
May 7, 2016 17:15
war of attrition in short
May 7, 2016 17:13
at the same time not allowing the enemy to forage
May 7, 2016 17:12
Basically you evade decisive battles, being in constant retreat and trading land for time
May 7, 2016 17:10
How do you counter the "Fabian Strategy"? Other than marching directly to the capital and razing it to the ground?
May 7, 2016 17:06
Anyone in here?
