Not sure about "common" these days but it used to be. I think OP is "working a week in hand" and it was explained to them by someone who doesn't understand the process themselves. Or the business itself doesn't understand it but the owner once heard from a guy down the pub that this was what Real Businesses Like Theirs did.

I still post the occasional question and answer here and, I've had good responses. But I'm just not interested like I used to be, I guess.

I think the disinterest in the election is a real shame
Oct 4, 2017 09:32
brb a moment
Oct 4, 2017 09:32
makes sense.
Oct 4, 2017 09:32
though when she gets the chance, she runs out into the fresh air then looks around and says "Now what...?"
Oct 4, 2017 09:31
she's only ever been around the house
Oct 4, 2017 09:31
hopefully we're going to move home soon, then once that's done we'll think about letting poppy outside
Oct 4, 2017 09:30
Though I did warn her that blue eyes meant it was really too young and they'd change colour
Oct 4, 2017 09:30
so what could I say ;-)
Oct 4, 2017 09:30
I had just resgined myself to Helen not liking and wanting pets then I got a facetime with Helen at her shop with a tiny tiny ball of fluff saying "It just ran into the shop and gave me the eyes... it has the same colour eyes as you, can I keep it?"
Oct 4, 2017 09:29
Poppy has learned that she can twist everyone in our house round her little paw.
Oct 4, 2017 09:28
heh
Oct 4, 2017 09:28
awww
Oct 4, 2017 09:27
just so irresponsible
Oct 4, 2017 09:27
what are those people like, right?
Oct 4, 2017 09:25
I don't understand either. We had her neutered for free, it's not like it costs you to have that done if you speak to the right vet
Oct 4, 2017 09:25
the kittens were far too young to be seperated from their mother really. We had to feed our one with a syringe
Oct 4, 2017 09:24
the mother got ran over by a car, and two more kittens were rescued by the vets in that shopping mall
Oct 4, 2017 09:24
that's younger kitten and stepdaughter.
Someone abandoned a young cat and its litter behind the shop Helen works in, and one of the litter ran into Helen's shop and that's the one we kept.
Oct 4, 2017 09:23
Beautiful, lovely markings...
Oct 4, 2017 09:23
Oct 4, 2017 09:22
She's 20...
Oct 4, 2017 09:22
^ I am serious cat. Fear my teeths!
Oct 4, 2017 09:22
Oct 4, 2017 09:21
yeah, that sounds about right. It's been the most fun watching my stepdaughter play with "her" poppy
Oct 4, 2017 09:17
hehe, it's fun watching people discover them...
Oct 4, 2017 09:16
Nothing wrong with a good lolcat picture. We have a cat now, it's helen's first pet and it is good fun watching her and her daughter discover what cats are like.

@cloud you may not appreciate how dysfunctional the US is when it comes to things like this. Tipping is expected by custom and convention and the restaurant pays its servers accordingly (e.g. as if the balance of their wage will be made up by tips). It's considered as much a part of the price you pay as the bill you're actually presented with. Bizarre, I know, but there it is.

Mar 13, 2018 13:57
yes that got it
Mar 13, 2018 13:55
Thank you once again, now lets see if it fixes the health connector, sure it will
Mar 13, 2018 13:55
I have to say I've never been in this situation either, but then I am mostly management these days.
Mar 13, 2018 13:55
can see it when i run netsh http show sslcert on secondaries now
Mar 13, 2018 13:54
yes. I tried running on a secondary first and it told me it could only be run on the primary, so running it on the primary did it for the farm
Mar 13, 2018 13:54
wonderful, running that on the primary has re-mapped localhost on all the farm members
Mar 13, 2018 13:51
I will, no need to make the job harder than it needs to be!
Mar 13, 2018 13:50
thanks again, I will give that a go
Mar 13, 2018 13:50
I have similar output to you, by the way, when I run netsh http show sslcert, except no localhost
Mar 13, 2018 13:50
yes
Mar 13, 2018 13:49
so I could run set-adfssslcertificate with the correct certificate thumbprint and it would re-do all bindings?
Mar 13, 2018 13:48
thank you, by the way, I'm learning here!
Mar 13, 2018 13:48
ah ok
Mar 13, 2018 13:46
I think set-adfssslcertificate affects the farm doesn't it, where netsh would just be local to server
Mar 13, 2018 13:45
I'm not sure either. This was a 2.1 -> 4.0 migration when 2016 was new but other than the UI bug you (? i think) helped me with just after deployment, its actually been rock solid
Mar 13, 2018 13:43
but other than that, as I say, please excuse my ignorance!
Mar 13, 2018 13:43
That's right. I remember not configuring device auth.
Mar 13, 2018 13:42
ah
Mar 13, 2018 13:41
pardon my ignorance but how do I check? I don't believe it's configured for device auth (iirc that's certauth?)
Mar 13, 2018 13:41
Ah, that sounds like the issue. I just need to figure out how to add that binding then I should be ok hopefully. I'll let you know, if it works so you can post an answer for the free internet points
Mar 13, 2018 13:41
@maweeras none of the servers in the farm have any kind of binding for localhost when I run that command. Should they have?
