Repeated throughout the Wong decision is the implication that Wong's parents might have acted to renounce his citizenship during is minority...but did not.
@Stephie If you are looking for something more tangible you might be able to find what you are looking for on the wayback site and use that to take to the library and search their archives.
@Stephie you might check "The Wayback Machine" archive.org/web you can go find websites as they existed "wayback" (enter a URL and a date and you get what that website looked like then. (For instance question #1 for Seasoned advise: web.archive.org/web/20091105171153/http://…) If your looking for something computer or gaming related they probably had an online presence as early as 1998.
@rumtscho Ok, just saw where you had left an instructive comment for a new user and deleted their answer...wasn't sure they would be able to actually read your comment.
What I am looking for is any good links to active forums where I am likely to find people who might have tried this. I can season up a round and set it in the fryer...but if somebody's done it before I should like to learn about it first.
So I'm contemplating options for my new Char Broil infra-red fryer and want to try a venison round... problem is I can't find a good 'active' forum for either the Char Broil Big Easy or Cooking venison. (by active I mean conversations with content added and/or commented on inside the last month) Everything Google shows me is out dated and here it would come down to a recipe request...Though I'm really more interested in knowing if anybody has experience trying this.
I truly don't mean to be unkind or argumentative but that is too vague, under the site standards, to solicit a good direct answer. But because you are a 1000+ plus member here I didn't want to just vote to close it on you without offering the chance for you to improve, be more specific and not 'legal advice'.
Ok, I can fathom a few, but those answers would be truly insulting to you. Like "Flies will get on the meat" or "You want to make sure the smoker is welded properly" and I really don't think you're stupid...) I expect others are having the same issue or you would have an answer by now. As is your question is not answerable and before I voted to close it I wanted to give you a chance to improve it. Your not 'new here' you shouldn't need that much help to get to a good question.
@Paparazzi, not trying to argue with you, I simply can not fathom an answer that does not come down to being either legal advise or 'do you think this is a good idea'
@rumtscho (et al.) Can we suggest to the powers that be with SO to open "The Hookah Lounge" @ pot.stackoverflow.com ... create a 'good place' for these questions? (and they could probably make a mint off of advertising pizza delivery on that site alone ;)
Our 'brand' is our scope...it's what we do and how we do it. It affects what people expect when they come to SA... (to be clear, I agree with @rumtscho) so what I'm asking you is if we include it...what do we lose? (I don't disagree that such a discussion is a good thing)
In this case OP's question (even if you add in "All Clad") doesn't reveal either (or any of..) the proposed older SA answers. Which means that if someone comes in wanting an answer to that exact question they aren't going to find it.
One of the standards that I like to use for a determination of a duplicate is, "When I put the question (of the proposed dup) into Google does the old question come up at (or near) the top of the list?" In other words, if the OP (for the newer question) had just Googled what they asked (the question's 'title'), would they have found the older question? If so, and the question itself is not a problem for other reasons (poorly worded) then it's definitely a dup.
I'm not sure thats any closer to being a dup than the one I posted...the difference being the new question is specific about a particular brand and style of pan. Is that 'difference enough?
fortunately I don't need help with the C#...what I'm looking for is good command line ubuntu tutorials. This one (dotnetliberty) while mono-centric, still looks like it has some good information for me, thank you.
Thanks...but when I put in a search (Google, bing, whatever) for "Beginning Ubunto" (not doing mono) "Learn Ubuntu" "Ubuntu for Beginners" the response borders on pollution, there is just so much and no telling what is 'good' or 'bad'
In other SE forums asking for recommendations and references are off topic..but encouraged in the chat rooms...I am an experienced C# dev, with extensive work in javascript (and a little java)... but have recently been looking at ubuntu. (particularly in regards to running .net core in ubuntu docker containers. I've found some of the basic stuff easily enough, but I'm looking for a good "Ground Up Ubuntu" primer and would appreciate some direction.
Bug: (or operator failure...) I just tried to create a chat room out of Board and Card Games but somehow it ended up in StackOverflow? Can I move this room? Can you move this room? If not can it be deleted?
