Weird if they announce NPCs
10:45
I didn't realise she had none before.
yst 20:39
@SPArcheon-onstrike thanks, but I still don't get the translator clip
yst 20:37
@SPArcheon-onstrike is that Klee's mom suddenly becoming a PC?
yst 14:14
That meme description is badly missing context
yst 14:09
@SPArcheon-onstrike probably. It just seemed like a "you're not making any sense" reaction.
yst 13:43
You know you can safely assume we have disjoint pop culture backgrounds :P
yst 13:43
Not really, but the guy did have a weird German name, and in any case your intent with linking it seemed clear.
yst 11:33
Shit, the envvar is somehow ignored in a venv
yst 11:12
I can't get it to work yet, though
yst 11:00
more work but nicer a bit
yst 11:00
Slightly less hacky: check the path from python -m site --user-site then create that dir then in that create usercustomize.py that tries to import onnxruntime (except: pass). And then set an envvar ENABLE_USER_SITE=1 whenever you want to trigger that. This will always try to import that module in any env before running your own code.

@Peilonrayz noooooo

@Otaku imagine the main sewage pipe of Burj Khalifa. From the inside.
yst 10:27
@Otakuwu trash heap
yst 10:27
@Otakuwu ancient!
yst 09:30
It's frankly a kind of issue that strangers are unlikely to sink time into.
yst 09:29
They have a question on SO main and gently asked in the python chatroom (where I'm a room owner and Pei also frequents).
yst 09:26
Sorry @SPArcheon-onstrike, does it bother you if we discuss this here? Want us to get a room?
yst 09:25
Is the tutorial you're following old?
yst 09:25
I assume labelme doesn't add upper version pins for dependencies and so qtpy is too new now
yst 09:24
@Otakuwu I'm getting an error from inconsistent qtpy vs labelme...
yst 08:47
@Otakuwu looking at your issue, can't find any fix with pip. Trying conda.
yst 07:22
Saw some hints along those lines
yst 07:21
Is she female in the new movie?
yst 04:51
@Peilonrayz just installing from scratch should pull in the newest dependency for that
Sun 17:29
There's a new kid called pixi but that's still small and gaining momentum. Never used it myself.
Sun 17:28
And quite bulky and fragile
Sun 17:27
@Otakuwu just very slow
Sun 16:42
There's a conda package so it would likely work anaconda.org/conda-forge/labelme
Sun 16:40
I could try at work tomorrow but I'll probably forget
Sun 16:37
That's why conda could help (but it sucks)
Sun 16:37
@Otakuwu because your missing dependency is probably not a python dependency
Sun 16:36
@Peilonrayz fair, was worth a shot
Sun 12:26
@Peilonrayz Do you have conda?
Sun 11:07
By the way it's safer to use python -m pip install instead.
Sun 10:40
if you keep having dll issues it might help to switch to miniconda but that's a more involved story
Sun 10:40
unless you have specific instructions what to pip install
Sun 10:40
@Otakuwu you need to pip install what you yourself use (typically: whatever you directly import). Your dependencies are responsible for pulling in their own dependencies.
Sun 10:39
by the way @Peilonrayz always recommend venv which is the standard-library module as of 3.3 docs.python.org/3/library/venv.html
Sun 10:38
@Otakuwu python -m venv venv_name creates a venv called venv_name, then . venv_name/bin/activate or on Windows venv_name\Scripts\activate or something like that activates it, then from then on python belongs to that venv
Sun 06:51
If I recall correctly they aren't using one
Sun 06:50
@Peilonrayz my hunch is that a venv might already fix it
Sat 05:29
@Otakuwu done now
Fri 18:04
@Otakuwu No worries. I could flag but they'll listen to you sooner :)
