@SteveJackson thanks! We had one of those annoying half-circle windows above the regular window. It looks great on the outside of the house, but would wake us up on Saturdays with a sunbeam ray of death to the face

along the way I also discovered I hate upholstering

my wife has a list a mile long though

I just tell my wife that I can buy lumber and the tools required for less than the cost of the furniture

that's how i justify the cost of all the tools i buy

so much cheaper than buying it from a furniture store

it's a slow process that gets interrupted often

I'm slowly replacing all of our craigslist furniture with homemade furniture

now that you mention it, that would have been a very good idea

I did cheat though. the box was long enough to leave halfway on the tailgate and just lower one end

haha, I guess I take some things for granted...

I think I have finally accepted the fact that my truck will never park in the garage again

Plus I bought a table saw last night, so I need to put that together and build an outfeed table

So it's currently covered in tools, but doesn't have all the features I have planned for it
