Wasn't that a homeopathy reference?
Sep 17, 2012 21:01
@chopper3 Sorry to hear the news. The prognosis is good, though, isn't it?
Aug 22, 2012 18:20
"vinnessa"
Aug 22, 2012 18:20
Creative? You might like outrightly wrong spelling?
Aug 22, 2012 18:04
/ahem...
Aug 22, 2012 18:04
HAHAHA!
Aug 22, 2012 17:59
@tombull89 Yeah, they hate it when you tell them "tough crap."
Aug 22, 2012 17:50
Along with a bank account number.
Aug 22, 2012 17:50
Send the card to me.
Aug 22, 2012 17:50
PROVE IT.
Aug 22, 2012 17:49
@OliverSalzburg There really are better things to spend time thinking about... :-)
Aug 22, 2012 17:49
@JeffFerland I can empty my own trash can but the school had custodians do it once a week or so...
Aug 22, 2012 17:48
That's not good. Are your clients technologically impaired?
Aug 22, 2012 17:48
Emails are usually based on your username...
Aug 22, 2012 17:48
Wha?
Aug 22, 2012 17:48
It's not like it's something to really debate over normally.
Aug 22, 2012 17:48
Ah. Then...*shrug* whatever works for the clients.
Aug 22, 2012 17:47
They have to type this stuff in all the time...
Aug 22, 2012 17:47
Why would you have titles in the username?
Aug 22, 2012 17:47
I've never had a dupe of mine...
Aug 22, 2012 17:46
You wouldn't want Fenton Arting to have an initial-lastname username.
3
Aug 22, 2012 17:46
Whatever makes the most sense for your client to easily use without forming embarrassing usernames I'd suppose, as long as they're consistent.
Aug 22, 2012 17:45
@OliverSalzburg Um...not that I'm aware.
Aug 22, 2012 17:27
If you have the budget for it it can be.
Aug 22, 2012 16:57
@Adrian Late to party, but map drives for users.
Aug 22, 2012 16:12
@voretaq7 I was told you can't have the minutes until they're accepted into the record the following meeting.
Aug 22, 2012 15:59
Apparently I can't get them until next month at the earliest.
Aug 22, 2012 15:59
If I could ever GET the board minutes I might find out.
Aug 22, 2012 15:57
But it's an insult added to injury to have sub-standard pay, then be told they were capping it when your retirement relies on your highest payment point in your career.
Aug 22, 2012 15:57
"technically"
Aug 22, 2012 15:57
But then again, neither was my position.
Aug 22, 2012 15:57
Administrators weren't in support staff contracts or teacher contracts...
Aug 22, 2012 15:56
I don't know, actually, how high up the ladder it went.
Aug 22, 2012 15:52
I heard they actually passed a vote on it in the board meeting that all non-teachers (they're already capped by the step system) were getting caps on potential salary and wages.
Aug 22, 2012 15:52
Pay cap as in salary caps.
Aug 22, 2012 15:52
Nope.
Aug 22, 2012 15:47
Pay cap with rumor of 0% pay increase coming.
Aug 22, 2012 15:47
They eventually passed a pay cap too...happened just as I left.
Aug 22, 2012 15:47
That's why I didn't really make sense of business casual dress code.
Aug 22, 2012 15:46
We did.
Aug 22, 2012 15:46
I wasn't going to haul equipment around schools where kids wipe boogers on chairs in a $200 outfit while making half industry pay.
Aug 22, 2012 15:45
Sneakers.
Aug 22, 2012 15:45
I usually wore a polo shirt.
Aug 22, 2012 15:45
The school would have preferred button-ups and dockers or something like that with the occasional tie.
Aug 22, 2012 15:44
Although here I can wear T-shirts, I suppose.
Aug 22, 2012 15:44
Perhaps "nice" is relative. I didn't wear t-shirts, but I don't see a need to wear something worth the cost of a motorcycle unless I get paid six figures.
Aug 22, 2012 15:42
Doctor's I've had to deal with have trouble remembering my face because they can't see through their noses.
Aug 22, 2012 15:42
@MDMarra Gee, sounds like...fun...
Aug 22, 2012 15:41
So you have to compete with people who dress in paper and scrubs?
Aug 22, 2012 15:40
@MDMarra Where do you work at (field/etc.) now?
