@Heinzi it can be even worse: "you had our SIM card, but registered in another region, so we'll overcharge you anyway" - for example T-Mobile, with overpriced roaming despite the carrier's worldwide presence.

@theberzi not featured in any Marvel or DC movie (yet?). :D @pigeonburger it's good to know the full names of cmdlets, not just the aliases: irm = Invoke-RestMethod, iex = Invoke-Expression. The latter one is just eval with another name. And eval is evil.

I'm not sure, but is seems to be this virus. My wife got this, symptoms were almost the same (home screen was somehow accessible, save obstructing pop-ups). ESET AV detected malware apps, but they were irremovable. Factory reset also didn't help. I had to replace whole ROM to get rid of that (and, as a byproduct, upgraded stock 4.1 to CM 5.1).
