@ThunderFrame Wow...
Mar 7, 2017 20:43
anyway gtg - at work.
Mar 7, 2017 20:42
^ well at least I didnt' break anything ;)
Mar 7, 2017 20:41
I'm not sure that I'm going to have time to do any work on it for a while. I might be able to read through it and come up with a backlog of stuff to be done.
Mar 7, 2017 20:40
^ see that PR for the current state of what I've done so far. Its not production ready - mainly because there are a bunch of stuff that's not implemented yet.
Mar 7, 2017 20:16
OK, I was wrong. They merged fairly easily. Although now I need to see if it still builds!
Mar 7, 2017 20:11
only the csproj file looks like an issue.
Mar 7, 2017 20:11
RubberduckModule.cs, Rubberduck.csproj, packages.config.
Mar 7, 2017 20:10
Well there are only 3 files I need to manage conflicts for... that's a pleasant surprise.
Mar 7, 2017 20:09
@Comintern Thats Pi not Pie.
Mar 7, 2017 20:07
^ hopefully you know that metaphor.
Mar 7, 2017 20:07
LOL, I did a bunch of work on it, then it got left in a half pie state.
Mar 7, 2017 20:06
@Mat'sMug Howdy!
Mar 7, 2017 20:06
Do you want me to create a PR against Next branch?
Mar 7, 2017 20:05
Might be faster if I come in here...
Oct 26, 2016 07:58
@Mat'sMug I just pulled changes for the first time in months, only to discover that the build is hosed ;P
Oct 4, 2016 07:28
@Mat'sMug - no worries. I haven't fully implemented that feature yet, so its not really ready to be merged. I am trying to keep myself from looking at the code because I'm supposed to be doing study. The paper I'm doing is a compulsory Marketing one - so I need all the motivation I can muster.
Sep 15, 2016 00:06
Once its working though, I'll post a link.
Sep 15, 2016 00:06
I'm hoping to deploy it to HTML5 but the rendering doesn't work properly. So I need to figure out why before I do.
Sep 15, 2016 00:05
@Comintern That is madness!
Sep 14, 2016 23:53
For anyone that's interested, I posted the code for a remake of Tetris on Github: github.com/rossknudsen/Tetris I wrote it in Game Maker for a Uni project. Took me a couple of weeks to write.
Sep 14, 2016 23:50
@Jelly I think you asked me the other day re books on COM? Sorry, I haven't got anything for you. Most of what I've learned has been from blogs. This one was pretty helpful: yanaware.com/com4me
Sep 14, 2016 23:47
If you open the IDE, its too distracting?...
Sep 14, 2016 23:47
What are you studying?
Sep 14, 2016 23:45
I was hoping to have the Reference Browser feature implemented before I started this paper, but missed the deadline.
Sep 14, 2016 23:44
Having to force myself to do my core paper in Marketing.
Sep 14, 2016 23:44
Sorry, I have been pretty absent. I've been trying to be good and do my study rather than get involved in coding...
Sep 14, 2016 23:43
@ThunderFrame Hey. How are things?
Aug 21, 2016 21:48
You would probably have to rewrite a lot of the code from RD though. The language definition is in a new syntax using regex etc.
Aug 21, 2016 21:47
@ThunderFrame You wouldn't need to fork the editor necessarily, as it is extensible. You could add a language package to it.
Aug 21, 2016 21:43
Yeah, its pretty interesting.
Aug 21, 2016 21:43
I did see that conversation the other day.
Aug 21, 2016 21:43
Hey @ThunderFrame
Jul 12, 2016 02:11
@Hosch250 OK, well I would like a method to open a given document. Either that or I could try CreateObject(pathToOfficeDocument) or we could change the behaviour entirely and not load the document.
Jul 12, 2016 02:06
@Mat'sMug Mint, that looks good. I guess I can just let Ninject give that to me.
Jul 12, 2016 02:04
@ThunderFrame Yeah, that's the only way to get that info. The Office document needs to be read, and the easiest way to do it is to open it.
Jul 12, 2016 01:23
^ Thoughts @Mat'sMug @Hosch250?
Jul 12, 2016 01:23
New question. How does RD get hold of the Host Application? When you add a reference to another Office document, the Office document is loaded in the background (invisible) even before the builtin References dialog is closed.
Jul 12, 2016 01:19
Well... so much for the morning... Sorry about that.
Jul 11, 2016 21:33
Guten morgen
Jul 8, 2016 23:23
@Mat'sMug Hmmm, I had never used the priority buttons before... Looking at the API, there is no way to change the order of References in VbProject.References. The only thing I can think of is to remove references and add them back in the desired order. I'm not really liking that idea.
Jul 8, 2016 00:40
Feel free if you want me to update any coding style issues etc. I made a bunch of assumptions. I'm not really happy with the IDisposable implementation, it was quick and dirty.
Jul 8, 2016 00:38
@Hosch250 Yeah, I pulled in a bunch of changes. But the PR ^ is done.
Jul 8, 2016 00:30
@Mat'sMug OK. Will do. There is one issue I'm running into where the ActiveProject is changing when you open the dialog. I'm not sure if this is a bug in the system or not.
Jul 7, 2016 23:25
I can put it in my fork or a branch in RD.
Jul 7, 2016 23:24
Umm, I have a potential PR for the Reference Browser feature I've been working on. Where would you like me to put it?
Jul 7, 2016 23:24
@Mat'sMug ;-D
Jul 7, 2016 23:20
Morning all!
Jun 29, 2016 20:30
Yeah, I think I have a memory leak. I'm not happy with the amount of memory used.
Jun 29, 2016 20:22
OK, will implement correctly with Enum ordering.
