Is it really a one-to-many or more like a 1-to-3? Sometime, if there's a limited amount of relationship that is possible, they combine it into the same table without any impact.

They are not the same. You can buy more than one lottery ticket. Almost anyone can buy lottery.The lottery institution does not win the price while the counting of vote is done by the people trying to win the price.

It also depends on how much government pay for other means of transportation. If cars/gas get subsidies, roads are paid, ect.. then it will seems like driving a car is more favorable than taking the train.

I've seen my share of bad software. They often start as a pilot, proof of concept, the developer do it quickly and when it goes live, there's no time to do the code properly.

There might not be logical reason for you but there is for other people. What I mean is these type of ceremony are often for other people. Classmate, family, stanger that want to look up to someone. It's way for the school to say that they care about peoples success so that success minded people will want to go to that school.

I would add that all these things can be done with her. You want her to learn engineer? Build the doll house with her, add light to the doll house with her. Also, since it's imaginary play, you can use imagination sometime "we need to go to x, can you make sure your doll sleep properly and when we come back they will be all rested".

I would end up paralyzed like you. Here's a little tip: try to remember those conversation and when you are 1on1 with that person, ask them "how's the garage working?", even if you talk 2 minutes about it. It will generate connections between people.

Did that all came to you as a surprise? Did you see signs? Before doing anything, you need to make sure that everything is true and not just an act of rebellion, which can happen in families with problems.

This happen to someone at one of my work. He didn't hesitate one second and ran to the guys that could restore the information. Then ran to his superior explaining the problem. 1- He knew who to talk to. 2- He didn't hesitate. 3- He took responsibility. Because of his quick action, everything was restored in a matter of minute with no loss.

It's a PR campaing to not use the word socialist or to use the word as an insult. The states has a history of minimal government, there are still a lot of people who like the ideas their founding fathers. They might use progressive (that was, in the past, "seen as bad" like the word socialist) or liberal.

Depending on your processes. This type of comments might be better put inside the Business Requirement Document or the Technical Specification Document.
