abcnews.go.com/International/exodus-moses-people-happen/… most news articles currently about the exodus end like this, moses probably existed, or someone like him, and led a small group of people out of Egypt, maybe. No main stream media as said that the exodus of millions did happen in the last 20 years.

@ssdecontrol i agree the hebrews were in egypt, and had a mass "exodus" however the mainstream consensus is that the exodus never happened. archaeologists debate this over and over, as their seems to be little evidence of millions of people moving from Egypt to Israel. there are alot of fights among historians and archaeologists with one side saying look the bible was right, and the other side seemingly determined to make sure the bible is discredited as a historical source.

it was in both technically, it was part of unified israel, then when they split it was in part called judah, the other half still being called israel.

@TylerDurden lol yes watch tv for knowledge, most non-religious scholars believe the Hebrews were never in Egypt and were just natives of the area of present day Israel. however the belief that the Hebrews were in egypt comes straight out of the bible, and should you believe that the bible is a historical account, then you'll also see the Hebrews did not worship the Egyptian gods. you cant mix and match ideas to fit your own preconceived notions.

i love the Wikipedia reference to tylers idea, after explaining the origins of the word it says, btw some conspiracy theorists believe it came from the worship of amun ra.

@TylerDurden so the Hebrews were kicked out Egypt? i thought the consensus was the Hebrews were never in Egypt to begin with.

out of the hundreds of thousands of star fleet members, there is very few casualties, if anything being apart of the enterprise crew or DS9 is the most dangerous possition, typically the federation is, as stated in the new reboot of startrek, a peace keeping organization, they typically dont fight anyone, the enterprise on the otherhand has quite a track record of interfering and getting into fights, crew members drop like flys(unless your a bridge officer). the Dominion war, and the borg are really the exception. and then it turns into a WW2 scenario, fight or be slaughtered.

May 4, 2017 14:25
and people will have to focus on "solid red, or solid blue" states, because now those who dont vote because their state always goes one color, mater again and bigger turn outs of the normal loosing party in that state will be unpredictable
May 4, 2017 14:24
without it the whole dynamic of the election will change
May 4, 2017 14:24
also the democrats have been one of the strongest defenders of the electoral college because with it they force the election to focus on a couple of swing states
