Most stuff on S.O. goes over my head, hard to answer anything or really gain much from reading. Oh the joys of being a student with only minor experience. :P

This place is much more interesting, I agree. Fun to read even if I've no direct interest in a topic.

It has been answered in such a way, and I believe edited now, that fits more with what you suggested. It does make a lot more sense as a world building thing after that.
