@KevinCruijssen Yeah, that is caused by the lazy evaluation of Elixir. I haven't figured out how to fix this, but adding the --no-lazy flag should work: tio.run/##yy9OTMpM/f//…

@Emigna Yeah, this is most likely caused by the lazy evaluation of loops etc. I have added the option of using the --no-lazy flag at PR#151 as a quick fix.

@KevinCruijssen Honestly, I have no idea. I expected the Elixir version to be faster than the Python version, but for some reason this doesn't seem to be the case.

Maintaining stack-based languages can be tricky though, since you would need to consider the design choices at the beginning of the project.

@lirtosiast I am not sure how hard or easy it is to implement a parser like Jelly, but stack-based languages are very easy to implement.
