@DonQuiKong If you can dig up that study, I'd be very interested in checking it out.

Do people really wanna see the "thanks in advance" kind of phrases? I personally hate them if they come after a request which I am not obligated to follow. Boss gives me a task and says "thanks in advance", perfectly fine. Some random cold email asking me for a significant favor for nothing in return? Just skip the phrase and thank me after, IF I agree to help you.

Since nobody asked so far: Got any sources?

Fascinating how there are 10 answers to this question and every single one is equally ambiguous. But I guess if you want to be 100% clear you just come across as pedantic.

Ignoring these problems, would the benefit of graphene even be that significant? I mean, won't the weight of a rocket always be dominated by fuel?

No need to do anything special. In my books at least, admitting a mistake establishes authority.

I personally think all that "blah blah nothing can replace a real teacher" is just nonsense. I can learn MUCH more from a great video than I can from an average teacher.

As a side note, if they go down to about 120 yards, they might be able to catch arrows out of the air and shoot them back down. THAT is the kind of plot I appreciate.

I don't think the "extra speed of air over the wings is small" argument is completely accurate, I think it's simply a matter of wing area vs mass. The bigger the wings compared to the mass of the insect are, the more immediate the reaction to the redirected air current in front of the windshield will be. Sure, small wings happen to have higher speed to counterbalance their lack of size, but if a small bug "magically" was able to fly at butterfly wing speed, I'm pretty sure it would still go splat.

By putting your personal grievances aside and providing a fair performance review? Personal grievances aren't part of a performance review anyway, so honestly I don't see a reason to even ask this question, except for ranting.

@jcm They won't pay for her, but they are ok with her not paying even though it's their car.
Aug 31, 2020 21:59
@JoErNanO I changed the wording to make it sound less law-breaking, is this enough for a re-open?
Aug 31, 2020 21:59
@phoog Thanks, I edited the question according to your comment.
Aug 31, 2020 21:59
@phoog The employer knows about it and supports her.

For the record: quora.com/…

@JoErNanO following mustaccio's last comment, does this mean that the question can stay if I change the wording? Or is it off-topic anyway?
Aug 31, 2020 21:59
@mustaccio The car belongs to her employers, and she persented her own (Austrian) license when she was stopped by the cop. But as she told me, she didn't give the cop her Austrian address. When you got stopped in Italy and France, did the people there ask for your (Canadian) home address?

@WeatherVane Well, I guess not paying fines is illegal by definition, so it seems I am :)

@NapoleonWilson Haha thanks then :D
Nov 26, 2015 00:21
Ok, its only 270 times :P
Nov 26, 2015 00:21
@NapoleonWilson Ok, thanks for clarifying, if you think without »still« it's better I'll not change it back. At least you have a Diamond and 2700 times my rep ;)

We know for sure that Gus was planning to kill Walt before Gale's death, so I think that word is essential for the question to make sense, isn't it?
Nov 26, 2015 00:05
I agree with everything except the removal of the word »still«
