@Alenanno That's fine, I'll be addressing you as "your preciousness" :) Anyway, I'll try to make the first draft of Russian text and let's see where we get.

@Alenanno: It's "admins" as understood by my new smartphone and proof-read by me :)

I mean translation of the main FAQ. Many or users prefer to communicate in Russian. I believe, if we want them to follow the rules, we better provide them in Russian too. The Ammons however should all agree that this will be an "official" translation. Otherwise it will not work.

@AnnaLear I asked about the format because the FAQs can clearly be split into more general sections: what can I ask (including what not to ask), how should I ask? technical. I believe, it would make them more useable. However, if we can only edit the top questions, we cannot improve this so it does not make sense discussing it. @Olga, @Alenanno Let's concentrate on providing translation first. Agree?

2 technical questions: (1) Is it possible to make sections/subsection in FAQ? (2) Who can edit our FAQ?

I did not want to remove anything, just may be to say the same shorter. However, this is not the most important things. Let's just add what is missing (how to answer). And let's agree on what's where. Main FAQ location is clear. I'd like to have an "official" list of tags linked from it. Do you agree and if yes, then where could it be?

So, to summarize, I'd like to make our main FAQ shorter (if possible), better structured, include a few words on high quality answering and tagging, and translate them into Russian. I am ready to participate in all this.

Alenanno, Olga, I am here. I'd be grateful if you could explain me the ideas behind the FAQ discussion. To summarize, I'd like to make our main FAQ shorter (if possible), better structured, include a few words on high quality answering and tagging, and translate them into Russian. I am ready to participate in all this.

@Alenanno , what about creating a separate room to discuss the FAQ-related aspects? I'll have to leave now, but please do answer here, I will respond ASAP and we'll come to some nice solution, I am sure.

Guys, you're bad :) OK, I agree, my post about the phone service of Vinogradov Institute was off-topic and could be closed. But you should have up-, not down-voted it. The information was interesting and useful. Besides, you were so fast that deleted it before I found time to see your comments outside my email and have a chance to answer. Anyway, like this I at least don't see how much rep I lost on it :D

@ArmenTsirunyan — our first member with access to moderator tools (1000 rep). Well deserved. Congrats!

@Cerberus: it is Russian, it means Good day
Jun 14, 2012 14:27
ОК, and how are the tags created now?
Jun 14, 2012 14:23
I don't have enough reputation to post questions there :(

Hi guys, I'd like to suggest to rename the tag "future" to "future-tense". Is here a proper place to discuss such things?
