But really I don't understand about how compression works other than "make notes that not really loud.. loud". And I'm confused to find great one without breaking my bank.
Obviously I can't do that with volume pedal nor increase the gain, so I'm thinking of get a clean booster, but I think that "the sound will be no different with the Les Paul", or maybe clean booster will work?
@RoryAlsop lately, I've been thinking, if I gonna buy Stratocaster (which is single coil and have the volume less than a humbucker) while I already have a Les Paul, how can I balance the volume between those two?
I mean I need to approach more tone, more than I could ever get. As far as I can recount, the pole pieces of the pickups for each string got different heights.
@RoryAlsop right-handed of course. If I just spin the pickups, is it like I'm just playing a right-handed styled pickups while playing in a left-handed body?
But I'm thinking if I'm gonna pick the hendrix-style, after changing the bridge intonation and move the endpin strap, should I worry about the pickup's poles?
By the way, I'm seeking for indie bands from UK/US for me to listen, something like the Local Natives, Vampire Weekend or something. Any suggestion(s)?
I wonder why when a well-known musician (not a front-man) came across some place where there's a lot of people, they don't really get any fans coming, asking for signature or selfie.
